Obsessive, Much?

It’s easy to see Charlotte, or “Baby Helena” as some call her-she does bear a resemblance to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) after all-becoming obsessed with Gio.

In that recent scene at the swimming pool, she practically turned green with jealousy, directing a piercing stare towards Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner)!

Helena was a very jealous woman, and with good reason, but she cheated on Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) too.

That’s how Charlotte’s father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) came to be! But Helena’s jealousy turned very dangerous-that’s how Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) and her late sister’s mother was killed-with Helena’s dagger!

Charlotte Has Acted Out Destructively Before-Out Of Jealousy!

GH fans will remember that Charlotte has acted out destructively before-out of jealousy; apparently she felt threatened by her father’s relationship with Emma’s grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Anna and Valentin thought it may have been some old enemies from the past coming after Anna, the day that her townhouse was burned. But in the end, it turned out it was Charlotte; very troubled, and only ten or twelve years old at the time.

This behavior escalated until Charlotte actually broke into Anna’s apartment she’d moved into, snooping through some files-Anna did have an old enemy from her spy days at the time.

Anna thought it was the old enemy in the dark of the apartment, reacted instead of acting, and wound up shooting Charlotte-she couldn’t forgive herself and broke up with Valentin.

Fatal Attraction, Charlotte Endangers Emma?

Considering Charlotte’s past troubling behavior, and the possible influence of her late grandfather Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) when he had her, it’s possible Charlotte could endanger Emma.

It would be a strange kind of justice, filled with sad ironies, were she to injure Anna’s granddaughter, after being injured by Anna. It may not be with a gun, or anything as severe as her grandmother Helena would have done.

It may be no more than the two getting into a girl fight, sometimes it’s called a “catfight” but the outcome is Charlotte being sent away for a while to get help!

Valentin would be heartbroken, that’s for sure, but he would realize it’s best-and so should Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening)!
