General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Realizes Brook Lynn Doesn’t Deserve The Benefit Of The Doubt

General Hospital spoilers tease Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) just found out that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has known for weeks that the PCPD was willing to reconsider having him back on the force — and it all rests in her capable hands. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) told BLQ all she needed to do was write a letter of recommendation explaining that while Chase’s behavior isn’t excusable, she can account for his two-fold assault being in her defense

. Still, it’s been weeks and Brook Lynn hasn’t made a single move in that direction. All of her efforts have focused on brokering Chase’s music deal and getting him ready to record a single with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). Chase is hoping BLQ has plans to pen that letter soon, but his gut is screaming otherwise.

Chase was hoping to take the high road and let Brook Lynn sort this out on her own and in her own time. As he sat with Dante and listened to him explain the conversation he had with BLQ, Chase instantly came up with ways to explain away why Brook Lynn hadn’t acted on Dante’s directions just yet. Chase would do anything for BLQ, so he’s assuming she feels the same way. However, he’s been warned she’s often just like her father and very much out for herself. In the coming days, Chase is going to try to encourage Brook Lynn to open up to him. Is something inside of him saying he can’t really trust her to carry this out and that he needs to know why she’s waiting?

As Chase keeps gently encouraging Brook Lynn to open up to him, it’s only going to unnerve her and make her double down on her efforts to secure a deal with Linc Brown (Dan Buran) — even if it’s not a good one. As she feels her time running out with Chase, she might see Linc’s offer as the last way to cement herself back into the music industry. Without Chase, she would cease to be a music agent. General Hospital spoilers say Chase is also going to start feeling frustrated that BLQ isn’t coming around with that letter – or an explanation for why it doesn’t exist — in response to his not-so-subtle hints. It looks like these two will reach a stalemate.

He knows about Dante’s encouragement to write the letter, and he knows she hasn’t done it. When Brook Lynn can’t offer up a better excuse, Chase is going to go looking for a distraction — and he’ll find it in Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
