General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait’s Always Been A Sad Sack
The truth is that Willow Tait was an emotional wreck from the moment that Chase met her. GH fans might remember that Chase met Willow while she was sitting in her car crying her eyes out. In fact, it was Chase who suggested that Willow attend grief counseling sessions, which incidentally is where Willow met Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Of course, Willow wasn’t grieving over the death of a child at the time. Willow was grieving because she had given her child up for adoption.
GH viewers might agree that Willow’s emotions haven’t really ever reached a point where one could call her “joyful.” Many might agree that Chase always had to attempt to cheer Willow up. Willow’s entire world and life focus seem to have been an obsession with having a baby.
GH Spoilers – Willow Tait Left Harrison Chase Behind Long Ago
GH fans know that while Chase and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) affair was a complete fraud, the things Chase told Willow when he broke up with her were actually, objectively true.

GH fans might recall that Chase told Willow that he and Willow were supposed to be in love and that the entire affair with Sasha was never supposed to happen. He continued, telling Willow that they went from being two people who were so in love to Chase being in love with Willow without reciprocation. While Chase put Willow first, Willow on the other hand totally focused on Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson).
Chase went even further, telling Willow that he and Sasha both understood what it was like to be put on the sidelines of other peoples’ grief. Willow got on the grief train, the “I want a baby train,” the “Wiley is God,” train … and left Chase behind.
General Hospital Spoilers – Harrison Chase Was a Jerk But He Was Right
Now, obviously many GH fans believe that the entire scheme that Chase and Sasha came up with to push Willow into Michael’s arms was ridiculous. Some rightfully argue that if Chase truly loved Willow, then he might have done as she suggested. If Chase had issues with her behavior and her obsession with Wiley, the two could have talked it out. Willow probably would have given the entire Wiley issue some space. Willow probably would have given Chase the middle ground that he wanted. However, Chase never gave Willow the opportunity to work with him to fix their relationship.
Many will agree that Chase’s actions were unnecessary and that he was, indeed, a jerk. His behavior absolutely wrecked his relationship with Willow. Now Chase will most likely never get back, “The Love of His Life.”
Even with all that said, many GH fans will agree that Chase had a lot of good points in his breakup speech.
Maybe. He loves her but he isn’t ready to have children and have a girlfriend or wife who is obsessed with children, and she will be like Nina and obsessed with having a child of her own. The child will come ahead of the husband and Chase can’t deal with that.
