General Hospital Spoilers: Chase’s Confession, Brook Lynn’s Surprise

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will finally admit his feelings to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Brook Lynn should find this a pleasant surprise, since it has taken so long for the two of them to progress in their relationship.

General Hospital Spoilers – Small Starts, Honest Hearts

Chase’s portrayer, Josh Swickard notes in Soap Opera Digest that while these scenes may be a small start, at least Chase will be honest about what’s in his heart. He notes Chase has grown as tired as the fans have of the “will she or won’t she” dynamic between himself and Brook Lynn over all these months. Chase wants it to happen but he’s afraid he’ll mess things up with her or he’ll come across wrong, so it’s been difficult for him to tell her his feelings.

He and Brook Lynn attend a charity picnic for the children’s wing at GH, and he’s relieved they can get their minds off plotting. They do run into each other very early on and decide to partner up for a fun three-legged race.

GH Spoilers – The Chemistry’s There, But Will Sparks Fly?

The chemistry’s definitely there as he and Brook Lynn are in such close physical proximity as three-legged race partners, with legs tied together, but will sparks fly? It’s obvious they both want things to progress between them but again, luck has so far not been on their side. Starting with that first, and so far, only kiss between them in the halls of General Hospital, there have always been interruptions and distractions. But things soon take a very interesting turn when Chase wanders into a plot Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Brook Lynn are cooking up to ignite a different couple. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are considerably further along with each other than Chase and Brook Lynn, and Olivia’s cooked up a home remedy love potion.

General Hospital Spoilers – Wrong Drink Again, Different Outcome

Viewers will remember Chase nearly died when he took the wrong drink, in that case being a cup of coffee at a family gathering. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was trying to poison Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and had a waiter poison a cup of coffee and the family played spin the wheel with the coffee. Chase got Finn’s cup and went through months of horrible effects, being saved by a last minute Hail Mary cure Finn was able to make work.

This time, Chase drinks some of the love potion meant to get Sam and Dante moving forward, but with a much different outcome; Olivia’s homemade potion acts as a truth serum. Chase, under the influence of the concoction finally admits to Brook Lynn that he’s in love with her; now, if only she’ll admit she’s in love with him too!
