General Hospital Spoilers: Chase’s Devastating Finn Update Brings More Tragedy

General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has been in rehab for a couple months after falling off the wagon earlier this summer. The night Brook Lynn Quartermain (Amanda Setton) married Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Finn accidentally took a sip of champagne.
That might have been the end of if but that same night, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) passed away. Both Finn and Chase were devastated that their father died, but Finn was especially affected because he was the one who discovered his father’s body.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Went To Rehab
Finn started drinking heavily and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) ended their relationship when Finn refused rehab.
He also resigned from General Hospital when Elizabeth reported to her superiors that Finn was struggling with his alcohol addiction.
Finn finally hit rock bottom when he passed out in his apartment where his young daughter, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) discovered him.
That was all Finn needed to finally agree to rehab. Chase drove his brother to the facility and that was the last anyone has seen of Finn.
GH Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Is Due Home Shortly
Finn was told he would need to stay in rehab at least 90 days. There is still about a month left before that time is up. But what happens to Finn after that.
Not that long ago, Finn mentioned that he longed for the days when he worked with Doctors Without Borders, but if Finn rejoins that organization, he most certainly will take Violet with him.
It doesn’t seem likely that Violet is leaving Port Charles anytime soon however. But there’s no way Finn would leave Port Charles without his beloved daughter, at least not if he had any choice.
General Hospital Spoilers – Tragedy Once Again Strikes The Chase Family
Chase and Violet are already struggling with the death of Gregory. But it seems quite likely that something will happen to Finn on his way home from rehab. Perhaps there will be a terrible accident of some sort.
It’s possible that Chase and Finn could be in some sort of car wreck on the way back home. Chase will certainly survive, but Finn likely will not.
Although Chase and Finn would be devastated, it would mean that Violet would stay in Port Charles with her uncle and Brook Lynn.

I wish GH wouldn’t let Michael Easton go he’s a really great actor & huge part of GH family. Violet needs her dad why can’t he get sober & go back to being a better Dr at GH & maybe violets mother could come back to have storyline with Finn where was she for all these years?
I can not stress it enough..BRING FINN BACK TO GENERAL HOSPITAL. Michael Easton is an excellent actor !! Also GH needs to get back to some medical stories!! We need Dr Finn BACK!!!!
Please bring Finn back !! Violet needs her dad & he’s a great asset to tthe hospital. I want him back !
Please don’t get rid of Finn. There’s so many things you can do with his story if you don’t want him on screen write he moved and Violet can visit her uncle she’s not on screen a lot and that leaves open for more story’s in the future.
Finns story was too abrupt and not necessary. The way he was written out made no sense other to be able to bring back Lucky ( which is ridiculous) Holly( another boring story) Morgan ( stupid) and anyone else they can dig up for whatever reason they think is interesting. Dropped stories are terrible. Stories never finish and characters are left sitting on the back burner fir weeks on end. I don’t see anything interesting coming with the new writers. After 60 years no longer enjoy the show.
It isn’t right to cause such pain, devastation to Violet and Chase.Bring Finn back.His character is needed.
To This would also devastate Tracy,as Finn was close to her. Enough losses.
If Michael Easton isn’t able to come back,recast just as you unnecessarily recast Lulu.I started watching as a child at my grandmother’s side, and have been a fan ever since.I do not like the unfinished storylines or some of the new plotlines. Bring Spencer back.He is needed more than Lucky.I can think of a storyline that would work.
Bring Finn back to Violet
I like Dr Finn I want him to come back.
While I completely agree with everyone who is begging GH to bring back Michael Easton and the character of Finn I don’t think that’s likely to happen and here’s why: I think Michael Easton was let go for budgetary reasons. Frank Valentini is famous for being an EP who keeps his shows on budget and I think when the decision was made to bring back Jonathan Jackson and the character of Lucky he realized he was going to have to free up money to be able to afford him. That means he needed to let a leading actor with a high salary go. If I were a betting woman I’d say the 3 actors with the highest paychecks are Maurice Benard, Steve Burton, and Michael Easton.
Now we all know that Jason and Sonny aren’t going anywhere so that left Finn as the one who had to leave PC.
I also agree with the author that it doesn’t look like Jophielle Love’s character Violet is going anywhere. Tracy actually laid the groundwork for her staying when she told Brooklyn that she should plan on Violet being with she and Chase on a more permanent basis. I also agree with the assertion that Finn would never leave his daughter by choice so he’s either going to die or end up in a coma.
Please bring Finn back. I’m tried of all the hurt and pain sadness yall bringing to this soap. This world around have enough. Then we turn on our favorite show and it’s sad. Let’s not say, The baby! TJ & Molly! Why can’t they have a bi racist kid. It’s not right.
Bring Fin BACK! He has a daughter that needs him. He’s a great actor and I want him back.
