ABC General Hospital spoilers reveal the stunning news that Chloe Lanier is no longer on the ABC sudser as villain Nelle Benson, this according to Soap Opera Digest.
It will come as a shocker to fans who expected nasty Nelle to pop up at the worst possible time to unleash a second wave of fury on her tormentors. Can it be that this evildoer is really gone for good, or is she off licking her wounds and conspiring against those who have conspired against her
General Hospital spoilers – Has Nelle Benson left Port Charles for good?
Her exit comes after a fight with rival Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). The two fought, struggled, and Nelle ran off into the woods. She ended up calling out for help and Carly hesitated but eventually ran to her aid. Nelle was hanging onto a branch, seemingly about to fall from a great height.
Carly did the right thing and grabbed her hand but it was too little too late and Nelle slipped, seemingly to her death. Sadly no one seems to be crying over the apparent loss of Nelle. She had no friends, yet did she have a mom who would mourn for her is she knew about her?
General Hospital spoilers – Will Nelle Benson return during another stunning epoch?
Apparently the General Hospital door is open for her return as Nelle has been in and out more times than we can count. She is a first-rate villain and the show would be foolish to give up on her. It’s likely that the vixen will bide her time and then return at the most inopportune time to bring fresh heck to her enemies.
It could be that Nelle is fine or it could end up that she has amnesia. Wouldn’t it be a terrific turn of fate if Nelle got conked on the noggin and turned into a super sweet saint of a young woman? Then again … nah!

General Hospital spoilers – What is next for the people who did not like Nelle In Port Charles?
A return from Nelle would mean questions for Carly who is lying about what actually happened to Nelle. For some reason she allowed Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher) to convince her to lie and this will no doubt come back to bite her. There is also a huge storyline in which it has been made to seem that Nelle is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) daughter.

Seeing is believing and I DON'T believe the writers will EVER listen to the majority of us about GETTING RID OF HER !!
I won't miss her. I just wish she had been officially killed off. The body found, identified and buried but mourned by no one in PC. Someone at GH seems to have a " thing " about her and they keep on inflicting her on us GH fans. Most of us would like to see her gone permanently from the show
I would give anything if she would get knocked off for good. The character is insipid. She will not be missed.

Hell Yes I will be one of the few people that will miss her but the writer make her too evil and she hurt too many life. The Wiley subplot was a little too much to watch. She need to send to the crazy house and get cure. GH don't need another murder mystery where no one who care who murder the victim(Nelle Benson Jerome)
I think the writers gave her too much power but she's an excellent actress and should stay on the show.
I think Chloe is a real good actress that is why we all came to despise Nelle b/c she got under our skin & got on our last nerve! Lol, though I will say for the sake of Wiley, Michael & Willow I’m glad she will be gone for now! Then again who knows what havoc she will bring to PC when she comes back. Watch your back Carly!!!

I enjoy her acting. She knows how to push the right buttons. I think we wouldn't watch the show if she wasn't such a good b**** she's a great actress and I think the storyline was pretty cool. I always want to know what her next move was. I hope that she doesn't go away because she needs to know who she related to. I want Nina to be her mother. She shouldn't have to die.
No … need a rest from her for awhile. Don't want her to be Nina's daughter … Willow would be better.

Hmm that is confusing if she is gone for who knows when (if she is exiting it will be at least awhile) then maybe nelle isn’t nina daughter either it was a red herring or CL decided to leave again and they rewrote who it will be. I can’t see them dragging this out till she decides to return whenever that maybe. The show indicating it could be a son instead of a daughter was a clear rewrite since Madeline said it was a girl when all this started. So unless they bring in a new character there are only a few options left on the canvas. Willow, Brando or spin these are the only characters that hav no real backstory that can make it possible. Brando we know very little and spin all we know is he was raised by his grandmother
I love Chloe, she is a terrific actress. That said, I'm so damn glad Nelle is gone! She is probably coming back, but for now at least, we have a reprieve.

I will miss her! Chloe is fantastic and Nelle brings much needed excitement to the show. And why the LONG teasing that she's Nina's daughter and then give us NOTHING and leave us hanging. Are they gonna rewrite the story AGAIN and now Nelle isn't Nina's? That's not cool.

lol….I didn't like her either…when I thought about it…she must have done a great job in acting to make us feel that way…they only act their script but for some she will always be Nelle…even if we see her in a movie where she plays a saint…some how it doesn't seem fair….just sharing.
