Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, General Hospital co-head writer Chris Van Ettan admits that the climax to the baby switch story is fast approaching. This means that we will be getting the answers to all of our burning questions very soon, including who Baby Wiley will end up with and how this is all going to pan out.

Etten tells the publication, “We are in the final chapters and the final chapters could not begin without Nelle getting out of prison and stirring several pots in Port Charles.”

With that said, it looks like it’s going to be a fight to the very finish as there are some people who are ready to protect their interests – or in this case, a small tot. There’s also the fact that there are some people out there that still don’t know the entire truth of the situation, including Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). That’s where Julian Jerome steps in.

Etten continues, “Julian is relieved that his son appears to be making a full recovery, but he is even more relieved that he does not seem to remember Brad’s confession before the accident.
