General Hospital Spoilers: Coby Ryan McLaughlin Admits He Was Supposed To Play Shiloh For 3 YearsGeneral Hospital’s Coby Ryan McLaughlin is out as Shiloh Archer in Port Charles. Even though his role was supposed to be part of a three year deal, the actor admits that he was recently let go by General Hospital producers. And while execs have not made any comments as to why they decided to let him go, a lot of fans can’t help but scratch their hands and wonder why the decision was made so suddenly.

However, even with that said Coby insists there are no hard feelings about his exit. He told ABC Soaps in Depth in an interview, “I’m so good. The character just got so diabolical. After I raped Sam McCall, tattooed a whole bunch of the Dawn of Day people, stole a kid to transplant memories and then abducted a child, I finally got a call that said, ‘Sorry, we are not going to re-up you.’ I’m like, ‘You know what? This is good. Thank you for the ride. I had a great time. I’m glad I’ve done it. I’m really looking forward to getting to do even more stuff.”

Coby also said on social media that everyone he worked with on the set of General Hospital has been nothing less than professional and also very, very supportive throughout his stint on the show.

After all, no one really dies in the world of daytime television, right? Plus, Shiloh Archer – as horrible as he was – is a character that no one is going to forget for a very long time.

If that weren’t enough, there are even some fans who say that they are going to truly miss seeing Shiloh Archer around, despite the fact that he was an evil villain. Needless to say, fans will simply have to continue tuning in to General Hospital on the ABC network to see what will happen next! In the meantime, we wish Coby Ryan McLaughlin nothing but the best as he continues to move forward in what is already looking like a very promising career.
