General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Rescues James – Finally Bonds With Grateful Mac

General Hospital spoilers tease that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) took a big chance on the 4th of July when he finally admitted to Mac Scorpio (John J York) that he was Mac’s son. Mac had suspected the truth a while ago, but Cody wasn’t ready at the time to become part of an instant family.

That’s why, with the help of Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), that Cody had the most recent test altered so that the truth didn’t come out. But things slowly began to change as he became closet to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her son James West (Gary James Fuller).

General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones Was Happy To Discover A Brother!

Although Maxie isn’t Max’s biological child, he did raise her. So when she discovered that Cody was her brother, she was quite happy about it. James also made a special connection with Cody, who was giving him riding lessons at the Quartermaine estate.

Mac himself, was furious that Cody had been lying to him all this time. He even told James he could no longer have riding lessons with Cody, although Maxie said it wasn’t Mac’s decision. But James knew that something wasn’t right between Cody and Mac.

GH Spoilers – James West Snuck Out Of His House

James was so upset that he couldn’t see Cody anymore, so he snuck out of his house and went to the Quartermaine stables where Cody and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) found him. They sent James back home immediately, but James wanted to know why he couldn’t see Cody anymore.

Maxie promised to think about letting James resume his lessons with Cody, but for now he was grounded so it would have to wait. It seems likely that James will get tired of waiting and make another trip to the stables.

General Hospital Spoilers – James West Is In Trouble!

If Cody happens to have stepped out when James shows up, it’s easy to imagine a scenario where James decides to take one of the horses out for a ride without supervision. This could lead to serious trouble if the horse throws James off and then comes back to the stables alone.

This would certainly set off alarm bells for everyone involved. Of course, if that happens Cody will take it upon himself to rescue James and bring him home.

Once Mac sees how good Cody is with James, he may finally forgive him for lying all this time and they can enjoy the fact that they are father and son!
