General Hospital spoilers tease Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) might not be expecting a call from his pal, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), but he’s got one coming. Ever since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) mentioned Cody’s intentions to Dante over Thanksgiving, the good cop can’t shake the feeling his childhood chum is up to no good.
Would Cody really do Dante in after this all this time and tell Sam the truth about their past? Maybe, but the conversation is quickly going to turn to one about Cody’s future more so than how these two became friends.

Dante’s anxiety is starting to eat him alive, and he’s hoping a talk with Cody will help him to hash things out and come to an agreement with his friend to keep quiet about their past. Cody doesn’t need Dante to lay out the specifics for him. They both know what’s on Dante’s mind ever since Cody implied to Sam that there were things lurking in Dante’s past she didn’t know about and wouldn’t like. Cody might tell Dante to say no more and reassure him that his secrets are still safe with him.

Cody is full of secrets, in fact. He’s got a few of his own he’d love to unload, but Dante’s secrets aren’t in jeopardy — or so Cody says. Will Dante lend an ear for Cody to open up to him about the latest mess he’s made for himself? As Cody is envisioning himself telling Dante about the paternity test and why he lied, he knows Dante won’t judge Cody, but he also knows he won’t agree with this methods.
Still, Dante came to Port Charles over a decade ago with his own agenda toward his father, but he didn’t know at the time that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was his dad. Once he learned the truth, things changed. Might Dante have some wisdom to impart to Cody about the importance of being honest with Mac Scorpio (John J. York)?

When Cody hints around struggling with something and stumbles on his words trying to get the truth out, Dante just might see him floundering and get out of dodge as fast as he can. Does he really want to burden himself with whatever Cody has done now? He knows he won’t be able to un-know it. Is Cody going to tell Dante what he’s done, or would that be too risky letting someone else get leverage on him when he might need to cash in later on what he knows about Dante?
