General Hospital Spoilers: Cody’s Arrest Record Reveals Dante’s Crimes, And Sam Is Clueless

General Hospital spoilers reveals Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has had his mind on Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) diamond and ruby necklace longer than any of these people in Port Charles knew it existed. It was Cody who had to push Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to even look inside of Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) safe deposit box to discover it. He’s had to sacrifice the chance of ever knowing his real father — Mac Scorpio (John J. York) — to pretend Leopold is his dad just to try to inherit the jewels.

Cody is feeling like he’s given up a lot to get this far, but people keep getting in his way. People like Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) — who was ready to take Cody down until a recent discussion with him in Britt’s office where he let slip that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) did something shady in his past. Now, Sam is concerned she might not want to find out what Cody’s talking about; she will anyway though.

Once Sam found out what he did to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), all bets were off. Further, his attachment to Britt was clearly planned before he ever came to Port Charles. Sam was ready to get to the bottom of Cody’s agenda, right up until he implied he knew something sinister about Dante that Sam was in the dark about. She walked away from Cody feeling unnerved and shifting gears. Would Cody use what he knows about Dante against Sam or anyone else who gets in his way of claiming that necklace? She isn’t sure it’s worth backing Cody into a corner to find out.

Sam may have told Spinelli she changed her mind and wanted to leave Cody’s past in the past, but Spinelli has his own bone to pick, not sure fair Samantha is thinking clearly. When Sam told him not to go snooping around, he could sense something had changed in the few minutes she was in Britt’s office engaging with Cody. Has Cody threatened her too? Does he have her over a barrel? According to GH spoilers, Spinelli knows Sam has risked everything to help him, and he thinks he’s doing the same by going ahead and pulling up Cody’s juvenile arrest record. However, what he finds is the last thing he ever suspected.
