General Hospital spoilers tease that Constance Towers will be reprising her iconic role as Helena Cassadine with the airdate falling sometime in February, in upcoming episodes of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Constance Towers Filmed Some General Hospital Scenes In December

Constance did film some scenes as Helena in December, although the exact airdate is not known due to all the pre-emptions and pushed ahead episodes that GH fans have been dealing with.

Highlight Hollywood is reporting that they exclusively have confirmed Helena was supposed to return to Port Charles February 5 through the 7.  But with all the preemptions that date will be moving ahead.

It is also not known at this time if Helena will again reappear from the dead, or if these will be flashback scenes as they were the last time she appeared when Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) involvement in kidnapping Drew Cain (played by Steve Burton in those scenes) out of Afghanistan was shown.

GH Spoilers – Current Storylines Have A Couple Of Different Ways For Helena Cassadine To Appear

Current storylines have a couple of different ways for Helena Cassadine to appear, with the most likely one involving the exposure and takedown of Peter August. These will probably be flashback episodes as they were before unless the General Hospital writers really decide to do something unusual and have Helena come back to life once again – although that is unlikely considering the storylines that emanated from the reading of Helena’s will several years ago.

If she was to have been playing dead all this time – like her grandson Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) did – the new matriarch of the Cassadines, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) who plans to have close friend and artist Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) paint her portrait, to replace Helena’s in Wyndemere Castle, would certainly have an unpleasant surprise, and it would be for Helena as well!

Writers may have plans to involve Helena in Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) storyline as well – either proving or disproving the supposition that he is her son, not the son of Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos)! Again, that would probably be a flashback.

The character of Helena Cassadine was originated by actress Elizabeth Taylor, and actually was written especially for her, Ms. Taylor has been an avid fan of General Hospital! Longtime viewers will remember Ms. Taylor’s take on Helena, with her iconic curse on Luke and Laura Spencer (Anthony Geary, Genie Francis) at the end of their wedding, as revenge for the death of Mikkos! And a curse it has been, indeed; with the Cassadines and the Spencers being enemies ever since!

      I think that Helena is interesting. I think that she will be more involved with Valentin finding out that she is really his mother. I can not help but kind of hope that Valentin is Helena and Edward’s son which would make him a Quartermaine. If there is something that is going on with Helena in regards to Peter I hope that it is revealed that she has been controlling him during this time.
