General Hospital spoilers (GH) spoilers imply Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) will make a major comeback in Port Charles in early May. This is a Sweeps month, so fans should always expect the unexpected. While Helena has been dead for a long time now, she also happens to be a Cassadine, and this family is known to have nine lives. Could she be alive? Could she be the person behind Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) recent targeted shooting?
General Hospital Spoilers – Helena Cassadine Is Set For A Two-Episode Return
GH spoilers note Helena’s return in May will be a short one. In fact, it seems she’ll only appear in two episodes. With that said, this doesn’t mean that Ms. Cassadine isn’t alive and targeting Sonny; the actress may film more shows at another point, in the weeks and months ahead.
After all, the soap loves to extend storylines and keep fans guessing. Look at Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) storyline. He’s alive and well and was shown some weeks ago, but nothing more has been mentioned. Helena could reveal herself as the mastermind behind Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plan, only to disappear once again until the summer or fall hits.
GH Spoilers – Helena Cassadine Is Behind The Recent Chaos In Port Charles
Victor has wreaked havoc in Port Charles as of late and now that he has the “real” necklace, he is seemingly about to escape the little town with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), little Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joel Clay), and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in tow. Could they be heading to Greece to see Helena? Has Victor been reporting to her, all along? Sonny and Victor seemingly had a rivalry brewing, and the hit on the mob boss could’ve been done to simmer Corinthos down.
It may have also been ordered to clear him out of Spencer’s life. After all, Sonny is Spence’s uncle from the “other side” of his family, and very close to the young man; therefore, also has quite a strong influence on him. Helena may see Spencer as an integral part of the Cassadine family’s “next generation”. Eliminate Sonny, and she eliminates any outside ties that could sway Spence away from Cassadine family duties.

There is nothing online or even in Adam Huss’s own page about him being asked to reprise the role if Nikolas Cassadine. It really irks me that since he was only filling in for an ailing Marcus Coloma, that you and other keep referring to him as Nikolas instead of Marcus Coloma. It is anybody’s guess who will play the character in the future, but as of now Adam Huss was never officially in the part to start with. He merely covered for Marcus who was sick and would have finished the remaining days of his contract if was able tii.
