General Hospital Spoilers: Cullum’s Cold Fusion Experiment – Anna Isn’t “Anna”- Here’s What We Know

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been located in France and seems very disoriented. The last GH fans saw of the woman, she was being held captive in the Wyndemere tunnels.

In fact, WSB Head Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and resident baddie Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) were using her in mind game experiments that seemed to be linked to their cold fusion project. With that said, is the woman in France really Anna? Here’s what we know.

The Nathan West Factor

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) arrived back from the dead in the fall of 2025.

While his fingerprints matched and all arrows are pointing to the idea that he is “Nathan West”, some recent slip-ups indicate that he may not be.

From mishandling evidence to the slip-up with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) recently, when he talked about his dad teaching him the periodic table of elements, Nathan doesn’t appear to be “Nathan”.

In fact, he seems somehow wrapped up in Cullum and Sidwell’s research, but GH viewers are having a hard time pinpointing exactly who he is and what’s going on.

Has Nathan been brainwashed? Is he a part of the cold fusion experiment? Is he Peter August (last played by Wes Ramsey), or possibly Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)?

Is Alex Devane Somehow Linked?

With Nathan acting odd and now Anna, it’s not hard to think that these situations are linked. There’s also the idea that Alex Devane (Finola Hughes), Anna’s ‘evil’ twin, may also be in the mix of things.

After all, Alex not only despises her sister, but she also happens to be Peter’s mom, so if Peter has somehow infiltrated Nathan’s body, Alex may be the woman in France, with Anna stashed somewhere else.

Either way, will anyone put two and two together and realize that Anna is not herself? Can they figure out what Cullum and Sidwell are up to?

Will Anna Devane return to town, or is someone else pretending to be her? What about Nathan?
