General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis And Marshall Ashford Clash!

General Hospital: Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett)General Hospital spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will clash when Curtis finds out that Marshall revealed to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) that he is Curtis’ father before Curtis gets a chance to do so in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford Was Unsure That Marshall Ashford Was For Real

General Hospital viewers will recall that Marshall spent a lot of time observing and asking questions before approaching Curtis with the truth. Marshall had disappeared when Curtis was a small child, and Curtis still wasn’t sure whether to believe him when he told him or not, even though he had a photo of himself with Curtis, his late brother Tommy, and their mother.

General Hospital viewers will recall that Curtis talked to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about the situation and she looked at the photo. Portia said she thought Curtis’ father in the photo did look an awful lot like the man. Curtis was confused as to why there was a funeral and he had been told his father had died. Portia had suggested he ask his Auntie Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) but he didn’t want to bother her when she was still recovering from her stroke. He was afraid the questions and the revelation of a man who may or may not be his father would stress her out too much.

GH Spoilers – Marshall Ashford Just Wants A Chance To Know His Family

General Hospital viewers can see that Marshall seems sincere in just wanting a chance to know his family and to explain especially to Curtis what happened back then. According to Robert Gossett, Marshall’s portrayer, Marshall is a man who is trying to reconnect with a part of his life he was forced to lose long ago. He is older now, and with age comes realizations of one’s own mortality, and he wants to fix what went wrong in the past and make it right so he and his family can get on with their lives. But as General Hospital viewers know, there is no easy fix for this – trust has to be built, and trust has to be earned.

But Marshall is in kind of a rush to get his life back to what it should have been, being a father to his son and a grandfather to TJ. Of course, Marshall has no way of knowing that TJ isn’t really his flesh and blood grandson, although he obviously did his due diligence in finding him and Curtis. It hasn’t been revealed if he knows that Tommy is dead but it could be implied that he does since he knows of the existence of TJ.

General Hospital Spoilers- Curtis Ashford Confronts Marshall Ashford For Telling TJ Ashford He Is His Grandfather

General Hospital viewers saw Marshall heading over to General Hospital to talk to TJ after he left The Savoy. TJ recognized him as the patient who ran out on him and addressed him as such, and Marshall explained why and who he really was. After Curtis hears the tale from TJ, he is angry and hurt. After TJ and Marshall talk a little bit more, TJ believes him and is willing to accept him as his grandfather, but Curtis doesn’t want TJ to associate with Marshall!

Marshall is correct in his response that TJ is a grown man, and wants to leave the resentment between Marshall and Curtis, although Marshall would rather there wasn’t any resentment at all, obviously. But Curtis is finding it difficult to even accept the man at all, let alone accept that he’s his father or listen to his explanations of why he was presumed dead all those years ago.

Hell NO! Curtis won't get all the answer the first time because I truly believe that Marshall Ashford will tell him the whole story.

  2. […] sounds indeed like Marshall is okay with Spencer and Trina’s fast moving friendship to more as Spencer smiles and says “that’s the last thing I expected you to say”. […]
