General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Jordan’s Salvation – Going Rogue The Only Way to Save TJ?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) is a hopeless case. For months now, GH viewers have watched her bumble around Port Charles allowing criminal mastermind, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to walk all over her. She’s had zero success in stopping any of his efforts to move his organization from the Pacific North West into Port Charles. Neither has she had success in stopping him from murdering her former teammates from the DEA!

Now, the police commissioner’s situation is even direr as her son, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellows) has been kidnapped by Cyrus’s henchmen and she herself is now being blackmailed. Moreover, due to that blackmail, her position in the PCPD is entirely compromised, with Cyrus instructing her to have the city’s police resources assigned elsewhere whenever he makes a move.

To top it all off, Jordan has kept almost everything secret, refusing to enlighten Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), her husband, to the dangers they all face. In fact, right now he doesn’t even know that TJ has been taken, hostage! She’s blackballed him almost from the beginning, only divulging bits and pieces concerning her former association with Cyrus and only then after being badgered by her former partner, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews)!

She’s refused to heed any of Curtis’s advice about working together with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), a man they both know has no love for Cyrus Renault. After all, the man put out hits on multiple members of Sonny’s family. But, Jordan has rejected any notion of joining forces with the Mafioso, in order to get rid of a mutual enemy. For Jordan, the adage, “The enemy of my enemy is my ally” doesn’t seem to apply.

However, that’s not the case for Curtis. He sees the advantage of putting aside differences and working together for the common good. How he will respond to Jordan once he finds out she’s been hiding TJ’s abduction from him is anyone’s guess. But, GH fans can bet he won’t be happy about it one bit. Depending on the situation, Curtis just may take matters into his own hands.

One may wonder if he just might renege on his word to Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) where he suggested that he wouldn’t “go rogue.” The truth is, he just might need to go rogue in order to not only save TJ but also to save Jordan from herself.

Viewers may see Curtis heading off to take down Cyrus’s operation alone. Alternatively, they might see him teaming up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny to free them all from Cyrus Renault’s reign of terror!
