Ryan hasn’t even been arraigned yet, so Curtis probably figures the mayor is the best way to fast track a deal for Ryan that will score a kidney donation. That way they can bypass the district attorney, which is probably the best plan anyway considering Margaux Dawson (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has been fairly incompetent lately, and under the thumb of smarmy cult leader Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) anyway!
Ryan probably wants to walk away scot-free, which is NOT going to happen, but a return to Ferncliff might be acceptable to him. He’ll just figure he can escape anyway since he knows the ins and outs and which staff members he can threaten into getting his way. He may even be arrogant enough to think he can pull a switch with his twin Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) again even missing a hand! That would not bode well..he might remove Kevin’s right hand in the process so they’d match again!
Of course, if Laura is able to fast track Ryan into a commitment to a mental facility, it WON’T be Ferncliff! Just because it’s a state facility it doesn’t mean that he has to be put there! She can have him go to D’Archam, where Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) is; she’s the queen of escape artists but hasn’t been able to escape from there, and Ryan won’t either!
Plus, there’s the extra added benefit of Heather being Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) mother, and the threat of her going Mama Bear on Ryan if she finds out he tried to kill her son! General Hospital viewers could see the fear in Ryan’s eyes when he woke up to Franco’s face in Thursday’s episode, imagine him being threatened by Heather! Stay tuned to General Hospital and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!
As always, more detailed spoilers and a full collection of pictures for the week in question will appear on Celebrating The Soaps, where there will be more clues and hints over exactly what’s going on.
This story is beginning to become a little silly also. I guess more people were tested for a match but viewers are to presume it was done off screen?? Jordan’s condition in real life would be more dire by now due to the time her kidney(s) have been failing, and without being able to take dialysis, she actually shouldn’t be able to talk or give an award (probably in a coma). But in order both the Ryan and Jordan stories to carry on – the two have been intertwined. I suppose the viewers are to believe all avenues have been traveled and Ryan is the only person in the whole wide world who can provide Jordan with a kidney. Certainly hope none of the viewers find themselves in this situation and it is handled so poorly.
