General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Confronts Jason, Demands To Know Where Sonny Is NOW!

General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will confront Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in an upcoming episode of GH. Cyrus will demand to know where Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is!

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Has Been Out Of Town

General Hospital viewers will recall that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) has been out of town. He went to Vermont over the Christmas holiday to visit his mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) on her birthday for the first time in many years. He had hoped to make peace with her and gain her forgiveness for running over and killing his father as a teenager, but she was not able to forgive him. In the meantime, he had given a kill order to one of his henchmen regarding Julian Jerome (William DeVry) who had failed to kill Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in the explosion of The Floating Rib.

By the time Cyrus returns to Port Charles, he has lost touch with the henchman and finds out through his other contacts that Julian is dead, Jason killed his henchman, and Sonny (Maurice Benard) has disappeared! Cyrus might assume that Sonny killed Julian and is laying low until everything cools off, but once he confronts Jason he’ll find out he’s wrong – and maybe dead wrong!

Cyrus obviously is making these demands for intel from Jason because he thinks if he can get the truth about Sonny’s survival or lack thereof from Jason, then he can formally take over Sonny’s territory. Up till now they have only had an uneasy truce and have coexisted not so peacefully. Cyrus finds some information through his moles in the Secaucus, New Jersey area that the police were looking for two bodies after a bridge collapse, but only found one and that was Julian’s.

GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan Is A Man Of Few Words, But He Has A Few Words For Cyrus Renault

Jason may be a man of few words, but he will have a few for Cyrus when he confronts him! Jason doesn’t know where Sonny is, and that is the truth. He can corroborate what Cyrus was told by his contacts in New Jersey, that two men went into the Hackensack River and only Julian’s body was recovered. He saw Sonny and Julian fall with the bridge collapsing under them himself. So far no trace had been found, no clothing, no ID, no gun, no nothing. Jason knows that Julian was shot and was in bad shape when they found him at the bus terminal, and he ran when the shooting started and Sonny ran after Julian while Jason stayed fighting the goon. Jason is careful as to how much information he gives Cyrus, however.

Everything he tells him is part of public record or police record, he doesn’t add anything to it that could give Cyrus a clue as to where he could have his men do their own search for Sonny. Jason knows that if Cyrus’ men found Sonny they would finish him off even if he did survive! Cyrus can tell that Jason is telling the truth, and now it’s Jason who he’ll have to fight for Sonny’s territory if Sonny doesn’t show up. Cyrus talks tough but not in a manner that he could be construed as incriminating himself as he insinuates a threat against Jason when he tells him to “take care of himself!”
