Cyrus has always tried to get close to all of his relatives, such as Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) but he hasn’t yet found the connection he has been looking for.
His recent heart attack and near-death experience will likely only strengthen Cyrus’ need for unconditional love. Perhaps he will soon discover that he has a child he never knew about.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Could Have A Child Of His Own!
Given Cyrus’ history as a drug kingpin, it is quite possible that he fathered a child during a meaningless fling. Perhaps the baby’s mother was terrified of Cyrus after their affair and put their baby up for adoption, with Cyrus none the wiser.
One possibility is that the child could have grown up to be Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). But given their twisted history, that seems unlikely.

Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) biological history is unknown so he could easily be a child Cyrus never knew about. Perhaps Dex was adopted and has no idea.
Dex could have been put up for adoption and never been told about it. Perhaps somehow, Cyrus will find out Dex is his son and reach out to him.
GH Spoilers – Dex Heller May End Up In Prison!
Dex is currently working for mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). If he continues down that path, he will likely serve time behind bars himself.
Cyrus may finally get to be the protector he always wanted to be as he takes Dex under his wing inside the prison walls. But perhaps Cyrus’ child is someone we haven’t met yet.
Either way, now that he has a new lease on life, Cyrus will continue to look for a family member to love and protect unconditionally whether they want him to or not!

Definitely hope Sasha is not Cyrus daughter as she has been through enough then for it to be revealed her father drugged her would be more than upsetting for her. Leave Sasha out of the mess an allow her to become whole without people around her that supposedly care for her interfering in her life. Dex suspicious of being a long lost child of Cyrus would be much better than any of the other candidates presented as it seems not many care for either Dex or Cyrus so they would make a good bonding team for one another.
