General Hospital Spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is still a threat, even though he is currently incarcerated at a high security prison somewhere in the Midwest. Viewers first learned of Cyrus’ actions when it was revealed that he has ordered a hit on both of his siblings, Martin Gray (Michael E Knight) and Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis). The threat was so serious that Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) sent both Martin and Laura into hiding at an undisclosed location. But it seems it’s not just his brother and sister he is after.

Ever since Cyrus was arrested and sent to prison, the Novak family has been positioning itself to challenge the Corinthos family territory. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has told Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that someone is giving the Novaks’ a great deal of support and assistance. If Cyrus has instructed his men to work with Novaks’, it might explain why they are suddenly throwing their weight around. Cyrus has made several attacks on the Corinthos family in the past, and if he has found a way to do business from his prison cell, his first order of business may very well be the destruction of the Corinthos empire once and for all.

As the citizens of Port Charles discovered during Cyrus’ reign of terror, he has no problem striking at the loved ones of his enemies, even children. He once kidnapped Trina Robinson (Sydney MiKayla) in order to draw her father, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) out of hiding, And he also took TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) as his prisoner until Jordan managed to find a way to get Cyrus released form prison. He may very well use similar tactics against Carly and Jason; It would not be difficult to imagine a scenario where Cyrus takes Carly’s daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into captivity. He could also kidnap TJ once again since it worked out so well the first time he did it.
