General Hospital spoilers tease Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the name on everyone’s lips this week as the news makes its rounds that he has managed to weasel out of the rest of his sentence at Pentonville. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) alerted Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to the news right away. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was traumatized to hear it.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) were equally as disappointed. But no one will be quite as ticked about Cyrus’ release as his sister, Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be. When she learns what he’s actually been up to, any thoughts she had about seeing him in a new light and accepting his narrative that he has found God will fly right out the window.
General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus and Victor…Allies?
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) may be dead but he’s far from forgotten. He has left a lasting impact on Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) that her father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), is struggling to explain.
Could a connection forged prior to Victor’s death have left all the wheels in motion to carry out his dirty work via Cyrus’ hands? It could certainly explain why Cyrus doesn’t need to hang onto his own money if he has managed to come into some secret Cassadine loot along the way.
GH Spoilers Suggest Charlotte is Under a Spell

It didn’t take long after Valentin explained what has been going on to Laura for her wheels to start turning. She recognized Victor’s possible involvement from the get go. But Valentin didn’t think it was important to mention those nifty tarot cards Charlotte has been dragging around everywhere she goes.
Had he, it’s likely Laura would’ve been alarmed, and would have recalled immediately what Victor did to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Because she hasn’t connected those dots yet, Valentin hasn’t either. Perhaps he’s just too close to this to keep a level head.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus Regains Control
Recall that Cyrus gave up all of his millions to a recidivism program. So he’s going to need to recoup some cash somewhere else — or from someone else, rather.

Having Scarlett in the palm of his hand, Cyrus will be able to enact revenge without ever lifting his own finger, or risking anyone else’s from pointing at him as the one to blame.
In other words, look for drama and crime on the horizon — and expect Charlotte to take the fall for her actions while her family struggles to prove she’s not herself.
