Cyrus is supposed to be shrewd and cunning as well as untouchable. Jordan worked closely with Cyrus and had no idea that he had anyone he was close to so who could this person be?

Perhaps General Hospital’s Cyrus’ mother is alive and he is protecting her from his enemies. Yes, Cyrus has been in prison but he still has enemies from the past who are just as ruthless as he is. Cyrus could fear someone putting a hit out on his family much like he did Sonny’s family. Could Cyrus be protecting his mother? Perhaps he’s is a mama’s boy at heart? Maybe his father is alive instead and he’s supporting him.

General Hospital’s Curtis is threatening this person because Cyrus has targeted his wife. It stands to reason that Cyrus could be married and Curtis has just discovered his significant other. Curtis may think that if he levels that playing field, Cyrus will back off. Curtis simply wants to protect his family and Jordan has refused every other idea he has pitched. Curtis feels like he is backed into a corner and has to use whomever he can to get Cyrus to back off. Has Curtis crossed the line by threatening this person? Will Cyrus make good on his threat to keep them safe?

General Hospital’s Cyrus has been in maximum security and conjugal visits aren’t likely allowed for most people. However, Cyrus has pull with some important people and could have arranged for his significant other to visit. Perhaps Cyrus has a child he is protecting. If that is the case, he doesn’t mind going after other people’s kids. Cyrus should realize that in his line of work, the more you threaten other people’s families, the more of a target your’s become. A drug lord having a child isn’t the most outrageous thing that could happen. However, it makes one question who the mother is.

General Hospital writers have had people commit crimes to protect their siblings as well. Sam McCall is a prime example of this. Cyrus could be protecting a mentally challenged siling as well.

Knowing that Cyrus is protecting a loved one could certainly add some humanity to his character. Learning the story behind 1257 Wilson Avenue could be very interesting, to say the least.
