General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that daddy’s little ditz, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may be on the verge of doing something from which she won’t be able to recover. As GH fans who have been watching recent episodes know, Brook Lynn has been on the rampage of all rampages when it comes to irresponsible behavior!

Immature doesn’t nearly begin to describe the recent behavior of Brook Lynn. GH fans may remember that Brook Lynn’s arch-nemesis Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), summed up Brook Lynn’s behavior nicely when she said: “Brook Lynn has to be the most incompetent secretary in the history of secretaries!”

Of course, that’s because Brook Lynn took confidential documents concerning the upcoming merger between ELQ and Marten MedTech (which she was supposed to send by mail) and left them on her desk. She then proceeded to dance around her office taking a selfie video for her fans, which she uploaded to Facebook. Lulu reported on the post, and the rest is, as they say, history.

Once Marten Medtech became aware that the confidential documents were made public, it fell on Brook Lynn’s dad, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) to make an attempt at damage control.

GH Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine Goes to Jail

As if potentially ruining a merger worth millions of dollars wasn’t enough, Brook Lynn allowed herself to be goaded into a fight with Lulu. In the course of their catfight, Brook Lynn and Lulu literally crashed the dining room at the Metro Court. The police were called and Brook Lynn found herself arrested. Worse, however, was the fact that Brook Lynn’s face ended up on tabloids … further tarnishing the Quartermaine name.

The fact that PCPD Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) later let Brook Lynn go (all charges dropped) because he knew she didn’t bloody his nose on purpose, was totally irrelevant news at that point.

Of course, in an effort to appease ELQ’s board of directors, Ned had to fire Brook Lynn despite the fact that she is his daughter. This angered Brook Lynn who saw her dismissal as an insult and as a betrayal of family values. (To which, many fans gave a huge, collective, eye roll.) Due to her misplaced anger, however, instead of being responsible and beginning a search for gainful employment elsewhere, Brook Lynn decided to get even.

GH fans may recall that there is still an offer on the table for Brook Lynn. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart) instructed Brook Lynn’s music producer, Linc Brown (Dan Buran) to offer a buyout of ELQ shares. In other words, if Brook Lynn sold her ELQ shares to Linc, he would tear up her five-year contract. Little does Brook Lynn know that if she sells to Linc, it’s actually Valentin who will acquire enough shares for a controlling stake in ELQ!

If Brook Lynn thinks she’s in trouble now … just wait.
