General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Confronts His Feelings For Lulu Just As She’s Falling For Someone Else?

General Hospital spoilers leak Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is struggling this week, and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is slated to be there for him.

These two go way back, so it makes sense that she would know how to comfort him in his time of need. But should we read more into it than two exes who know how to lean on each other like family while maintaining boundaries? Well, previews suggest Dante is about to make a confession.

That could have something to do with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) being implicated in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting, but I know I’m not alone in hoping he’s ready to confess his love for Lulu — again. This time, maybe he’s ready for a relationship.

Regardless, it doesn’t seem like Lulu is quite as single and ready to mingle as she was the last time they shared their feelings with each other. She might not have noticed her interest in Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) yet, but the fanbase has. Will Dante be a welcomed distraction from it, or is he too late to jump into the game?

Dante Hits His Breaking Point

Last year was pretty brutal for Dante. He likely thought he would’ve been marrying Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) in 2025, and instead he started the year off without her, without their penthouse home, and without the role he once played in her kids’ lives.

He nearly lost Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), and he found out Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is his son too.

Realizing Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) might not have been wrong about the way Dante ran the case against Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) could have him questioning everything about his life and who he has become.

GH Spoilers Claim Lulu is Shelter From the Storm

It’s nice seeing Lulu and Dante supporting each other. Things were tense when she first woke up from that four year long coma.

Dante didn’t know how to engage with her while processing his grief over losing Sam, and Lulu didn’t know how to look him in the eye and not feel guilty over her death.

Enough time has passed now that Lulu’s support might push Dante to come clean and admit how he feels about her and that he doesn’t want to lose her too.

Who Will She Choose?

As much as I want to say it’s a given that Lulu would never betray Maxie by falling for Nathan, stranger things have happened.

And as much as I want to say she would never love anyone more than she loves Dante — which may remain true — I could still see a world where she is too enticed by Nathan and just can’t get him out of her mind, even if she wants to.

That would help GH drag out the inevitable Lante reunion we are bound to get at some point but they never want to give us too soon.

That being said, hooking up with Nathan would wreck her closest relationships while getting back together with Dante would be a likely improvement for their son, Rocco, who has given them plenty of scares this past year.
