General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Falconeri Comforts Sam, Drew Cain Leads Dry Up

General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will comfort Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) as leads on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) dry up in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall Hears From Anna Devane But Not What She Wants To Hear

General Hospital recaps show Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) went to Greece chasing down a lead. They didn’t find much on Drew yet, but they did find the real Nurse Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kuhlman) who had been presumed dead. General Hospital viewers will recall that when Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was going to kidnap Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and their baby when she was born, he “got rid of” the real Nurse Chloe and hired an imposter, Fake Chloe (Kimberly J. Brown).

However, Peter was outwitted and the whole plot backfired on him when Maxie knocked out Fake Chloe with a fire poker and she fell through an unstable cover to an old well to her death. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) then came across Maxie in labor and delivered baby Louise August (the Odell-Diaz twins) who Maxie gave to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to raise as her fake baby with Valentin, “Bailey Lois Quartermaine”. Sam will hear about real Chloe, but nothing about Drew – yet.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall Becomes Discouraged

General Hospital viewers know that Sam has had a rough ten years or so where her men are concerned. She could even be tempted to think she’s a curse for men, if she were not the rational woman she is, at least most of the time. Shortly after her son with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) was born, he went missing and was presumed dead for what became a total of five years. She thought he’d returned in Drew until the real Jason returned alive.

By that time she and everyone else thought he was Jason and they were married with a daughter, Emily “Scout” Cain (Ella Ramacieri). Then Drew disappeared after they divorced and she had chosen the real Jason. In between Jason and Drew she dated Silas Clay (Michael Easton) for a short time, who wound up murdered!

Then there was Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who Sam had dated for a short time before becoming involved with Jason! But Sam should consider the pattern – only Silas stayed dead! However, as the leads on Drew have dried up, General Hospital viewers will not be surprised if Sam becomes discouraged!

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Comforts Sam McCall And Encourages Her Not To Give Up Hope

According to GH spoilers,  Dante wasn’t all that positive about Drew’s survival when Sam first got that phone call, his feelings could have been influenced by the situation with his own father. General Hospital viewers will recall that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was missing and presumed dead for nearly a year and suddenly turned up alive just last week – and Dante was one of the first to see him! Dante didn’t consider Jason’s presumption of death and how long it was previously. The time period between Drew’s disappearance and the phone call and Jason’s disappearance and Drew’s original appearance in Port Charles is about the same.

He didn’t consider Sam had presumed Jason was dead until Drew showed up and then everyone was shocked to see Jason show up and Drew be discovered to be a twin brother no one knew he had! But then Sam didn’t mention that either. General Hospital viewers can imagine that Dante has a new perspective on whether someone missing and presumed dead is really dead now that Sonny is back, and will encourage Sam with that fact!
