General Hospital Spoilers: Dante’s Date Offer Stuns Elizabeth, Ric’s Jealousy Explodes?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may ask Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) out on a date.

If Liz accepts, then it could cause an explosion of jealousy for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and kick off a brand-new love triangle.

GH fans will recall that Ric took Elizabeth out for Valentine’s Day, so they had a blast at the hatchet-throwing range. Ric tumbled into the floor and made Liz laugh, so they reconnected and capped the evening off with a kiss.

However, Elizabeth hasn’t made any sort of commitment when it comes to rebuilding a relationship with Ric. One date isn’t a guarantee that Ric and Liz are going to live happily ever after, so that’s important to keep in mind.

Of course, Ric is no doubt hoping that he’s well on his way to a full-fledged reunion with Elizabeth. Based on Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) grin when she saw Liz and Ric together, she’s surely hoping for good news, too.

That said, there may be a new romantic contender for Elizabeth based on her most recent interactions with Dante. Liz and Dante have been connecting a lot lately, so GH writers could be gearing up to take them out of the friend zone.

That potential plan felt most evident in the February 25 episode when Dante thanked Elizabeth for her guidance and hoped to repay her. Liz waved off the idea, but Dante got a twinkle in his eye and decided maybe he didn’t want to let this go.

It feels like Dante might be on the verge of throwing his hat in the romantic ring when it comes to Elizabeth. Dante has been single for quite a while due to his grief over Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), but he may finally be ready to date again.

Dante and Elizabeth have similar vibes and values, so they seem like a great match all around. We could certainly imagine Dante asking Liz on a date and convincing her to see what happens between them.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that Elizabeth and Dante are destined to build a life together, but it wouldn’t hurt to get to know each other in a more romantic context.

Liz might agree to have dinner with Dante, but Ric will likely be lurking nearby if that’s the case. Ric may get blindsided if he realizes there’s another guy in the mix when it comes to the fight for Elizabeth’s heart.
