General Hospital Spoilers: Dante’s Heart To Heart With Olivia Could Make It’s Way Back to Sam

General Hospital spoilers reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has never shied away from telling his mother, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), the truth. His heart is breaking right now as he struggles to consider what life will look like without Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) in it.

One would think he might have an accurate understanding of that already, but the last nearly-four years of her being in a coma has still left him with hope that she’s coming back to all of them.

If she dies, that hope will be dashed forever and he’ll have to grieve a loss that is far worse than knowing she’s alive but not really present with them. At the same time, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is being the most understanding woman a guy could ask for — and it’s likely to weigh on him in ways he didn’t see coming.

May Dante doesn’t know how he feels. On the other hand, maybe he knows and that’s why he’s so afraid to say it out loud. There’s no reason for him to feel ashamed of his feelings, and he knows that his mom won’t judge him.

At the same time, she won’t go so easy on him as to give him a pass for carrying a more fiery torch for Lulu than he does for Sam. That’s what is really happening here, right? We can all see it.

Dante would never claim Sam was just a placeholder, but that’s likely how she’ll end up feeling if she ever learns where Dante’s heart really lies — and it sounds like that may happen soon.

Will Dante bare his soul to his mom just in time for the truth to make its way back to Sam and set her world a-spinning?

GH Spoilers – Hint Loose Lips Sink Ships

It’s unclear how Sam comes to hear what Olivia and Dante discussed, but we can be pretty certain that neither one of them will spill the beans to her.

Rather, it’s more probable that Dante and Olivia assume they have the protection of privacy when they don’t. Who on Earth would overhear this conversation and think it’s best that they carry that water back to Sam?

We have to assume it’s either someone with very poor intentions who wants to see them fall apart — or it’s someone who feels Sam deserves to know the truth so she can protect herself. Could it be Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) or Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sam McCall Seeks Transparency

When Sam learns of how open and honest Dante was with Olivia — and what the context of that conversation was — she probably won’t have any trouble recognizing why he wasn’t quite as frank with her.

Thanking her for being so understanding and reminding her that he loved her was enough to make Sam feel secure in their relationship.

Hearing that he’s singing a different tune to his mom, despite how guilty he feels, may leave her feeling far less confident that they’re as solid as she thought. Will she cut ties and set him free to explore his feelings with Lulu, should she wake up?
