General Hospital Spoilers: Deja Vu Shock For Sonny At Gio’s Reveal-First A Son Kept From Him, Now A Grandson?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease there will be a lot of backlash once Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) true identity is revealed, and not only from Gio himself!

It’s for sure once he’s revealed as Brook Lynn Chase’s (Amanda Setton) grown son, his paternity will come out as well, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sonny will be blindsided!

Dante And Sonny Met When He Shot “Dominic Pirelli”

Longtime viewers will remember that Dante and Sonny met when he shot “Dominic Pirelli” who had come to Port Charles from New York undercover, to bring the mobster to justice.

But neither knew they were father and son until Olivia Quartermaine, (Lisa LoCicero) then Olivia Falconeri saw what happened, and screamed Sonny had shot his own son!

Sonny and Olivia were about the same age when Dante was conceived as Dante and Brook Lynn were that year in camp when Gio was conceived.

Sonny, of course was shocked and grieved that “Dominic Pirelli” was really his son with Olivia and that she never told him she’d gotten pregnant with his child!

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was much more supportive of Brook Lynn when she admitted the truth-and even offered to try to find the child.

Sonny Financed Gio’s Schooling

Sonny even financed Gio’s schooling, as a lifelong friend of the Cerullos when he unfortunately lost both of his parents-which will come out he was adopted in a private adoption.

So far, Brook Lynn has no idea the handsome violinist in his 20s who she sees and interacts with every day is really her grown son-but her mother does!

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) both know the real truth and since he was raised by a cousin, they could keep up with him over the years.

That’s why Lois is so shocked when Brook Lynn reveals she told everything to Chase, except who her baby’s father is-considering Chase and Dante are partners, something could slip!

Still, Lois freaks out when she finds out Chase offered to investigate and search for the child-she’d just told Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) the truth could never come out!

Someone’s Suspicious-Actually, Someone’s Nosy!

There is a possibility that someone could uncover the secret of Gio being Dante’s son before Chase even has a chance to investigate, or Lois has a chance to make excuses.

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) was suspicious of Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) being Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter-and when she overheard the truth from the Floating Rib bathroom, she blabbed!

That was entirely none of her business, but she made it her business to blow up Nina’s wedding and her life anyway.

Lulu works for Brook Lynn-at least so far, and if she overhears a conversation about the teenage pregnancy, she’ll dig into it and might find out the truth.

Probably the first person she’ll tell is Dante, after realizing he and Brook Lynn, along with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) were in camp together that year!

A Big Blowup For Dante, Sonny, Lois, Brook Lynn, Chase, And Gio Himself!

The main reason Lois doesn’t want Gio exposed as Brook Lynn and Dante’s son is because she doesn’t want his life to be blown up and feel like it’s been a lie.

Gio adored the Cerullo cousin who was his adoptive mother, although the story was his father died in a war before he was born.

Not to mention the explanations she’ll have to give to everyone, and the potential exposure of Sonny’s son, Dante, as the father, and Brook Lynn may even be upset!

But, as it usually does, the truth comes out-whether it be by Chase not finding matching records or Lulu and her snooping! For Dante, he now knows how his dad felt about him, and he’ll have to explain to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), for Sonny, it’s shocking déjà vu!
