General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) may soon be going to boarding school. Now that Brando Corbin (Johnny Waycross) has been revealed to be alive, Dev’s cover story is at risk more than ever.
Brando agreed to go along with the charade that Dev is his son, but it’s just one more complication. Dev recently suggested that going to boarding school might be in his best interest, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) agreed.
General Hospital Spoilers – Will Dev Cerci really leave?
Dev has spent the last several months going to school, making friends with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and the rest of the teen scene in Port Charles. Dev has fit in nicely with the other kids and made good friends, but he won’t want to put anyone at risk if it is discovered that he is in the country illegally and he really isn’t related to Sonny at all. Sonny could find himself in legal trouble and Dev could be deported.

If Dev goes to boarding school and is keeping a low profile, he could remain undetected. But if he stays, people could eventually become curious about Dev and Brando’s relationship. Lying doesn’t seem to come easy to either of them and it would easy to slip up. So it seems as though Dev will be leaving Port Charles soon. It won’t be easy leaving his friends and newfound family behind, but it might be the safest option. Better to be safely away than at constantly at risk.
General Hospital Spoilers – A mob war
With a mob war brewing, this might be the perfect time to get away. Sonny will have to concentrate on handling the new threat, and Dev safely out of town at boarding school would one less thing for him to have to deal with. Josslyn will have a difficult time saying goodbye, especially after losing Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) to cancer last year, but at least Dev would be alive and could always come back to visit.

Should Dev stay in Port Charles and hope no one puts together that he really isn’t a Corbin? Or is it in everyone’s best interest if it leaves town for boarding school? Go. Like the character but it seems like his storyline is very much
stalled. Maybe if he goes away for a while they can figure out
what to do with Dev.
I like the idea of Dev and how they were devoloping a teen scene in PC but it looks like they are rethinking what to do with the character. If he is not leaving we’ll see him at the High School Party.
It might be good to try and close so many open storylines that have been around for a while like the baby swap, Nina’s daughter and Peter/Drew/Jason before openning more storylines.
I think both Brando and Dev will be back. They need a teen story for the summer months and more good looking guys like Brando. I also think they might bring Spencer and Emma back for the summer months. Spencer can reconnect with Nik and Emma help Anna.
He should stay but not get caught up in a triangle over the extremely basic Joss. She is so incredibly entitled, boring and self-centered, just like her mother and step-father. Watching a rich little princess emote over the death of her equally boring boyfriend (sorry but it’s so true) for a year while everyone monitors her emotional temperature ten times a day is not good TV. Dev has so much potential and is being totally wasted— are we supposed to be riveted by the idea of basic Cam and basic Joss getting together to be super-basic together? Trina and Dev should absolutely be the center of the teen scene, both are interesting in their own right and putting them together would be lightning.
I hope that Dev will stay. I would like to find out about who his real family is. I would also like to see Dev with either Joss or Trina. I like his friendship with Joss, Cameron, and Trina.
