General Hospital Spoilers: Dex And Joss Are Free To Be Together — But Dex Still Isn’t A Free Man

General Hospital spoilers suggest Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) don’t have to hide their relationship anymore. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) came clean with the couple at the Nurses’ Ball and told them he knows they have been seeing each other.

He doesn’t like the disloyalty on Dex’s part, but it’s not a hill he’s willing to die on since he needs Dex so much for his organization to keep thriving.

However, his approval of their relationship hinges upon Dex’s continued compliance with his business affairs. In other words, there’s no way Dex can just walk away from the mob even though Sonny is cool with his choice in women.

Sonny has to be put away for Dex to be free. That’s going to become a problem as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) starts to question his feelings.

What a weight that has been lifted. Dex and Joss can be together, out in the open, and they don’t have to worry about Sonny getting ticked or ruining Michael’s plans to ruin his dad. They couldn’t be more pleased that he approves — or at least isn’t going to have a problem with their secret romance.

That being said, he clearly still has concerns about Joss and who she couples up with. But if Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) isn’t doing anything about it, why should he?

GH Spoilers – Tease Dex Heller Is Wavering, But Joss Expects So Much

Joss is eager to have Dex all to herself soon, but her beau hasn’t exactly told her the truth about what he’s feeling. While the plan to dismantle Sonny’s empire is in full force, and Dex has held Michael’s feet to the fire any time he tried to back out, he’s the one who is feeling like his heart isn’t in it anymore this time around.

When Dex took that bullet for Sonny in the warehouse without ever thinking, he proved to himself just how much Sonny and the business have come to mean to him.

Furthermore, his time spent staying at Sonny’s penthouse has made the boss feel like family, and Dex likes that. On the other hand, Joss is expecting Dex to get out of the business. He can’t have it both ways.

Michael has been working on bringing his father to ruins for nearly a year now. Joss might be on board with those plans, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t aware of how much it’s paining Michael to see it through.

When she told him Sonny more or less gave her and Dex the green light to be together, she could tell Michael wasn’t as confident about this takedown as he once was. Should Joss open up about her concerns for her brother to her boyfriend, Dex just might encourage her to talk Michael out of this.
