General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Heller Leaves Port Charles, Is Evan Hofer OUT?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that the Friday, February 16th episode left fans of the soap opera on the edge of their seats.

While there were plenty of explosive moments in the land of Port Charles, one major point of contention with viewers is whether Dex Heller, played by actor Evan Hofer, has officially exited the show.

GH Spoilers: Dex Heller Is Gone … But Is He Gone For “Good”?

GH spoilers note that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Dex had quite a heated confrontation during Friday’s show.

While the henchman thought the mob boss came to his dwelling to kill him, it turns out that Corinthos gave him some grace; allowing him the funds and opportunity to leave town and escape any danger that comes by being an “ex-employee” at Corinthos Coffee.

Although Dex was contemplating death, versus leaving town and the love of his life Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) “for good”, in the end, it seems that he realized leaving the land of Port Charles might be what’s best for everyone involved.

Josslyn was on a mission to find Sonny to talk to him and convince him to go easy on Dex, but by the time she made it back to his apartment, only the mob boss was there. Joss broke down in tears, and fans now wonder what’s next for Dex?

GH Spoilers: No Official Statement … Yet …

As of this writing, there’s no official statement from either actor Evan Hofer or GH. This leaves some speculation that Dex might not possibly be gone from the little town.

As Brick (Stephen A. Smith) was organizing the young henchman’s safe house and documents, it’s hard not to think that there might be a chance for Heller to return to Port Charles and Josslyn.

After all, Sonny has a traitor in his organization, and some fans are wondering if it’s Brick. He’s been throwing Dex under the bus for a while now, so maybe it’s to deflect the attention away from him.

Perhaps, while en route to the safe house, Heller figures out that Brick is up to no good and can crack this mystery wide open. This would certainly earn points for Dex to return to Sonny’s organization, the little town, and Joss.
