General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Takes Another Bullet for Sonny, Joss is Left Reeling

General Hospital spoilers claim someone is after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and while it remains to be seen who the enemy is, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is going to pay for it.

Dex knew what he was getting into when he took this job with Sonny. Rather, he knew what he was getting into when he took this job with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

Michael has been paying him to be a covert spy turned mob enforcer, doubling down on what Sonny is already asking him to do. Dex was quick on his feet when he spotted a sniper in the warehouse with every intention of taking Sonny out. 

The next time around, he’ll move even faster to protect his boss — acting as a human bulletproof shield in the process.

General Hospital Spoilers — A Bullet Meant for Sonny Strikes Dex

Once again, Dex is going to come under fire all because of who he works for. Exactly what Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) didn’t want to see happen – despite the fact that Dex has already been shot twice before.

The last time when the bullet just grazed him, he was at risk for a serious infection and Joss had to call on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to grab him some antibiotics.

This time around, Dex just may land himself in the hospital where doctors like TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and the head nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are going to be asking questions. Joss isn’t going to like how Sonny handles the responses, putting his business ahead of Dex’s life.

GH Spoilers Say Joss is Beside Herself

Nothing matters more to Joss than her family, but Dex certainly places a close second. Learning that her boyfriend has been caught in the line of fire is going to terrify her and send a wave of concern over her that she can never let this happen again.

Why did she condone him re-joining ranks with Michael and staying in the business? Why did she say she approved of his decision to stick with Sonny and that she would respect it? She will regret all of that now.

Joss and Dex were moving along just fine in their relationship, but this incident is going to turn everything on its head. How can she go to sleep every night wondering if she’s ever going to see Dex again?

He’s only been working for Sonny for a little over a year and already he’s made contact with three bullets. The statistics aren’t favorable for him surviving for very long, and Joss would like to keep him in her life.
