General Hospital Spoilers: Diane Goes For Broke, Drags Brad To Testify – Will He Reveal Truth About Nelle?

ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) could be brought back to testify in the child custody case of his erstwhile “son,” Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson). GH fans who have been watching a while know that Brad pled guilty to a plethora of charges against him in the horrific baby-swapping scheme he agreed to with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Since then, Brad’s been rotting in prison, but now many GH viewers suspect he might be called as a witness in Wiley’s case!

General Hospital Spoilers – Brad Weeps and Wails in Jail

GH fans know that Brad gave a long speech to his former husband, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) just before he was sentenced. Lucas briefly embraced him, but it was clear to all that Brad’s marriage to Lucas was over. The last GH viewers saw of Brad, he was being led out of the courtroom in handcuffs by police officers. It’s clear that for the intervening time, Brad has been serving his sentence in Pentonville Prison.

Everyone knows that Brad was never the strongest of men emotionally. Brad let Nelle manipulate him and he was never able to stand up for himself either against Nelle or against Julian Jerome (William deVry). In prison, it’s likely been much worse for Brad than he ever imagined it could be.

With that said, in the midst of all Brad’s tears and personal drama, he is most likely looking for some kind of payback against Nelle Benson. How is it possible that Brad rots in jail while Nelle does not? Many Gh fans may agree that Brad assuredly wishes to rectify that situation.

Should Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) choose to bring Brad in as a witness in Wiley’s court hearing, it could afford Brad just the sort of opportunity he’s been praying for.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brad Could Spoil Nelle’s Day

Some may question why Diane would even bother to bring Brad in to testify at all. Surely Nelle will hang herself during the entire court proceedings! However, fans ought to know better than to underestimate Nelle at this point. Moreover, Nelle’s attorney, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) seems light-years above and beyond the abilities of Diane. (Diane has come up with some pretty horrible legal advice of late.)

That said, viewers should remember that Nelle’s entire case rests on her weird story of finding herself unconscious. According to Nelle, an evil Brad Cooper snuck over and stole Nelle’s baby after placing his own dead child in her arms during this time. In fact, Nelle is arguing that she only recently found out that Wiley was actually alive and that he was her son!

General Hospital Spoilers – Brad Tears Nelle’s Story to Shreds

GH fans may agree that Brad would be the perfect person to refute Nelle’s rather obvious fairy tale. If Diane is smart, she’ll ensure Brad takes the stand. He’s got the ability to chew up Nelle’s story and spit out the pieces.

The truth is, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and St. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) are more than pathetic up on the stand. Martin has been able to poke holes and spill muck all over the lily-white images the two are trying to project. Now, Nelle isn’t some super spotless queen, but at least she’s charismatic. At least Nelle has the ability to manipulate and sway emotions. At least Nelle isn’t a melodramatic zombie.

That’s why Brad needs to be brought in as the counter-weight to Nelle’s narrative. He was there when the baby-swapping crime played out, and as everyone knows … like Nelle, he can cry at the drop of a hat.

There is that possibility but who knows??? Brad and Liesl both need to make an appearance at the trial so different versions of truth can be examined. My main problem with this story line is that Nelle is lying about the birth of Wiley and getting away with it, as there is no one other than viewers who know what happened that fateful night. Hopefully Brad if called, will do the right thing and tell the truth and the whole truth.
