General Hospital Spoilers: Did Adam Harrington Just Say Goodbye To GH Fans – Is Cates Really Dead?

General Hospital spoilers tease that FBI Agent John Cates aka Jagger (Adam Harrington) has apparently appeared for the last time on screen Cates died onscreen.
Fans were divided if Cates really died on the Friday, August 30th episode or if it was a dream of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).
In the final moment of the episode, Cates and Sonny met at the Quartermaine boat house as they had agreed earlier in the day.

Cates had already arrested Sonny’s daughter, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) but he told Sonny that he would let Kristina go if Sonny would just confess to all his crimes.
Sonny agreed and the two met at the boathouse so Cates could walk Sonny past the whole Quartermaine family in handcuffs. But Cates didn’t could on Sonny to turn the tables. He had warned Cates long ago not to mess with his family,
GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos shot Agent John Cates in cold blood
With no one else around, Sonny shot Cates in the chest. Bleeding, Cates fell to the ground and then Sonny came closer and shot the FBI Agent a second time.
The scene did come across as a bit over the top with Cates ranting, the rain falling and then the shots. Its easy why some fans suspected it might be a dream and that Cates isn’t really dead. But then Adam Harrington seemingly confirmed Cates’ fate on his X acoount.

General Hospital Spoilers – Adam Harrington says goodbye
Harrington posted a photo of a sunset with the caption, “Good night all……” The post was seemingly a goodbye to his fans and was taken as confirmation that he was leaving the show and today was his last day on air. Now it’s still possible it’s all a fake-out, but there is a very real possibility that Agent John Cates is no more!

Could he just be place in a coma. I want to learn more about his back story and the fact that he has a son whose autistic. He was good with Leo. That was when he was at his best, not this mad man.
Cates persona will never change until he gets what he feels is justice for Karen and Stone. He decided to leave PC for which Sonny had nothing to do with. When his brother fell ill Sonny did everything he could to help him through his illness for which Jagger should be thankful. Jagger has guilty feelings for not being around when Stone needed him. I don’t necessarily want to see Jagger dead, and don’t really care about his son, etc. I just want the character removed from canvas as he will only bring havoc and chaos to any story line in which he is involved.

hopefully John cates is dead!
There is several things on Cates and Baldwin’s problem with Sonny along with his relationship with Karen. Scott did not raise her nor did he did he support her when she really needed her father.
Same thing with Cates. He married, cheated on her, mistreated her, didn’t help raise his kids and divorced her. Do you understand how either of of deserve the right to hate Sonny.
