General Hospital Spoilers: Did Carly Get Off Way Too Easy For Keeping Nina & Willow From The Truth?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that there could be light at the end of the tunnel for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and her dire condition. After all, her newfound Aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) recently jumped at the opportunity to get tested to see if she’s a bone marrow match for her niece. Had the truth not come out about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) being Willow’s mom, at this point, all hope would be lost. While Reeves is still the villain in Willow’s world, both she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) quickly forgave Carly without batting an eyelash. This begs the question; did Ms. Spencer get off way too easily?

General Hospital Spoilers – Most Fans Believe That Carly Spencer DID NOT Pay Any Real Repercussions For Her Lies

GH spoilers suggest some plot twists on the horizon when it comes to this storyline. Will Carly face any backlash for what she did? After all, she kept a major secret from everyone for a very long while. In fact, she even lied to her new love interest Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

In fact, she didn’t even just lie; she went to massive lengths to keep the truth hidden, even paying someone to deflect Drew from the truth. But despite all this, Drew forgave her, and Millow is currently acting as if nothing ever happened. Carly was welcomed back into the fold, mere moments after she exposed herself. While in the end, Ms. Spencer did the right thing by telling Willow the truth about Nina (in hopes to save the young mom’s life), she still did lie about it for months when Tait was desperate to find her bio parents.

Interestingly enough, Soap Opera Digest (SOD) recently ran a poll asking GH fans if Carly paid the appropriate price for her recent lie. An astounding 73 percent of viewers polled said, “no”, she did not.

GH Spoilers – Only One Person Truly Challenged Carly

GH spoilers imply that Carly will comfort a loved one the week of February 20th. Will it be Willow? She seems to have been an anchor of support for Ms. Tait during this entire ordeal. With that said, Willow also now has Liesl to lean on, as the two have just started bonding.

Speaking of Ms. Obrecht, she has been the only one (other than Nina) to truly call Carly out on what she did. She recently gave the blonde a piece of her mind about covering up Nina’s biological tie to Willow. Liesl just lost a daughter, she knows how precious time is. Thankfully, Ms. Spencer was nice enough to take what Liesl dished out, understanding that her lash-out was partly due to the fact that she is still mourning the loss of Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
