General Hospital Spoilers: Did Carly Just Hint That Jason Is Actually Alive?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) presumed death is not going down well, or even being taken seriously, by diehard fans of Ol’ Blue Eyes. Let’s be honest: most fans believe Burton will be back in that well-worn leather jacket at some point in time. He is just too entrenched as a GH icon and a part of its history to be gone for good—or so we tell ourselves.

At any rate, fans are speculating that Jason’s BFF Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) could have dropped a hint about Jason’s return. At the moment Carly is wallowing in self-pity after learning that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had a thing going on in Hooterville, oops, Nixon Falls, PA. And she had to hear about it from St. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in front of an audience no less. Hurricane Carly is now a Cat 4 and about to make landfall!

After the bombshell dropped, Carly acted like expected—she ranted, raved, pouted, cried and blamed the pot for being charred. She also conveniently forgot that she and Jason were about to have sex in Sonny’s bed before he popped back up from an early grave. Hey, memories fade sometimes!

In fact these two declared their undying, unrequited love for each other and got married in front of friends and family. Why these same friends and family haven’t uttered out loud what a hypocrite Carly is, is puzzling. Then again, who would want to infuriate Snarly?

The December 30 epi saw forsaken Carly wailing and crying out to Jason. Was there a reason for that, after all soaps are known for broadcasting hints about storylines in broad strokes.

GH Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Was All Alone

As Carly cried about her misfortune she kept calling out for the paid assassin wondering where he was. Does this mean he is actually somewhere and not in a million little pieces among explosion rubble? Fans were quick to note the discrepancy in her musings, that she was not wailing about him being dead, rather she wondered where he was.

This was Carly’s hour of darkness, so maybe she was just babbling incoherently, not able to string two thoughts together or tell right from wrong, dead from alive?

Steve Burton chose not to comply with ABC’s vaccine mandate, thus he is out of a job. The last time he left GH he hopped over to The Young and the Restless, and that was not his brightest hour, a fact fans won’t let him forget. It seems more probable he would return to daytime on GH than another soap, maybe the show is already dropping hints? Tell us what you think about the possibility of Jason returning GH fans!
