General Hospital Spoilers: Did Laura Wright Just Confirm Willow’s Pregnant?

Laura WrightGeneral Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos on GH seemed to confirm that a Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) pregnancy might be ahead!

General Hospital Spoilers – A Fan Tweeted Concerns

A fan tweeted concerns to Laura and several others including Katelyn MacMullen about what is going to happen to Willow when she finds out who her birth mother is. Cynthia Watros, who plays Nina Reeves and Chad Duell, who plays Michael Corinthos were also copied on the tweet, and Laura responded that she was concerned too. She responded “Me too – Maybe Carly should keep it to herself for about nine months!” which of course is the term of a pregnancy!

There has been speculation based on Soap Opera Digest’s summer preview that Willow might be pregnant because of the wording that Michael and Willow will have exciting news! It goes on to say that they’ll want to tell the world, but Willow will have pressing matters that take priority.

GH Spoilers – Willow Tait Has Been Unusually Moody, Uptight And Exhausted

Previous General Hospital spoilers revealed that Willow has been unusually moody, uptight and exhausted, and actually has fainted a couple of times. A pregnancy would fit in with all those situations, although the last time she was checked out nothing was mentioned about a pregnancy test. She was very un-Willow like when she tore into Nina during the court recess, and nearly became violent, grabbing Nina by the wrist and telling her she wasn’t going anywhere! Nina was shocked and went into defensive mode, grabbing Willow’s wrist and telling her to back off, “little girl”! Meanwhile, Carly was notified that the DNA results she had done between Willow and Nina were ready and showed that Willow and Nina were daughter and mother!

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Chose To Keep Those Results A Secret

Carly chose to keep those results a secret, and in fact lied to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that the results showed Nina wasn’t Willow’s mother! He had made her promise that she would do the right thing when he helped her get into the Quartermaine gatehouse to get something of Willow’s. Drew had caught Carly “borrowing” a wine glass she’d just seen Nina drink out of at Charlie’s Pub, but their definitions of “the right thing” are obviously opposite!

Carly thinks the right thing is not blowing up Michael and Willow’s world by telling them Nina is Willow’s mother, meaning Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was also her twin. Drew, on the other hand, thinks that Willow has a right to know who her birth mother is and Carly’s right thing would be to tell the truth!

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Will Have A Way To Redeem Herself

The Soap Opera Digest summer previews also said that Nina will have an opportunity to redeem herself. Since Laura hinted Carly would need to keep the secret of Willow’s birth mother for nine months, this seems to indicate the baby will need something from Nina! This confirms the speculations of many fans that Carly will have to reveal the truth and seek Nina’s help to save the baby. There could also be a possibility that Willow could lose a lot of blood in childbirth and need a transfusion as well, with the two sharing a rare blood type. As for Carly being forced to reveal the truth to save either Willow or baby Corinthos’ life, that could go either way!
