While there’s no doubt that fans are used to seeing Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) break up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) just for the two of them to get back together again, it seems like this time around things are much more serious. General Hospital Spoilers – Did Sam McCall Just Make A Huge Mistake With Jason?

Apparently, Sam (Kelly Monaco) wants to focus on her career again rather than some of the things that are going down on the streets of Port Charles. As many fans can recall, when Sam thought that Drew Cain (Billy Miller) was Jason, they both got out of the mob business to start a new life together. However, things ended up falling back to the way they once were after the real Jason returned to Port Charles.

Now that Sam has made some rather huge changes in her life and has decided that she is better off without Jason, (Steve Burton) it doesn’t look like the majority of General Hospital fans agree. In fact, according to a new poll by Soap Opera Digest, only 26 percent of respondents say that Sam did the right thing by ending her relationship with Jason. The other 74 percent said that it was the wrong decision, adding that they would love to see Sam and Jason back together again.

While no one knows what the future holds for Sam and Jason, one thing is for certain: seeing how they have a child together, they will always be in each other’s lives, one way or another. With that said though, Sam has made it pretty clear that she doesn’t want to take two steps back when she’s doing her best to take one step forward.
