General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint now that fans know Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the one behind Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) digitalis OD and subsequent death, everyone’s waiting for the next shoe to drop in the storyline.

GH viewers are fully expecting Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to become the next victim in Cyrus’ evil plan but is he executing all this on his own or does he have a mysterious partner?

GH spoilers remind fans that Dex got stabbed by someone mysterious during the Tuesday, December 10 episode. Someone in a black coat with black gloves came up from behind him, and while it’s possible it was Cyrus, it’s also possible it could be someone else.

After all, Cyrus was in the town square collecting donations. This doesn’t mean he didn’t slip away to stab the cop and quietly come back, but if it was Renault, why wouldn’t the soap just show him stabbing Dex? Why keep it a mystery?

GH Spoilers – Who Could Cyrus Renault’s “Mystery Partner” Be?

It’s entirely possible that Cyrus has someone (unknown to fans) helping him with things. After all, it does look like Dex will meet his demise by the time Friday, December 13 hits. Cyrus will probably mess with his meds the same way he did with Sam’s – something along the digitalis line.

The reason behind Dex’s murder might be more obvious than the reason why Cyrus killed Sam (as Renault likely wants to keep the fact that he was at the hospital on Halloween, the day of Sam’s passing, under wraps); however, why he felt the need to inject digitalis into her IV bag is baffling.

With that said, getting the medication, and all the activities surrounding what Cyrus did, could require a partner in crime. But is it someone who works at the hospital? An old character seeking revenge that has aligned with Cyrus? A new character that is set to debut on canvas? Only time will tell.
