General Hospital Spoilers: Does Lulu’s Recast Serve As Proof Of Another Spencer Family Death?

General Hospital spoilers suggest the role of Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) has been recast. Rylan confirmed such weeks ago on Instagram. At the time, fans got the impression she was just opting out — something she always said she wouldn’t do. In fact, she was emphatically clear on multiple occasions over the years since her character was sidelined into a coma that GH was aware she was ready and willing to come back whenever they deemed it was time.

While we don’t know whether they even offered her the chance to return, we know she isn’t. Given that she was so sincere in wanting to in the past, does this mean a recast is signaling that Lulu really will die — or is there hope for her after all?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Whole Truth

The whole truth and nothing but the truth would be ideal here, but that’s not what we’re working with. Not knowing how the exchange went down between GH and Emme Rylan means we don’t know whose idea it was to recast this role.

Emme could have changed her mind about this position long ago. She was under no obligation to update anyone on that change in circumstances. The reprisal may not work with her family’s current situation, especially given that they left California some time ago.

That being said, it’s possible that GH gave her a courtesy heads up that they were reacting but never offered her the option to return.

Rylan signaled she was disappointed by the decision, ushering in the opinion that it was GH that made the call. But it’s still possible they just didn’t agree on terms, and that led to the final decision.

It was just months ago that the Spencer family had to say goodbye to Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman). That was a hard blow, especially since most of the public didn’t know how sick Zeman was with cancer.

General Hospital Spoilers — Could Lulu Spencer Live?

Unfortunately for all of us who can’t wait to see Lulu wake up, it sounds like it’s going to be a long road ahead, despite the already challenging one she’s been on for the last four years.

Lucky may be home next week to be with his family as his sister allegedly starts to drift away, but the recast details described a character named Lauren who matched Lulu’s personality.

Taping for that role wasn’t to begin until September, meaning we’re not likely to see “Lauren” on-screen until October.
