General Hospital Spoilers: Does Rebecca Shaw Hold the Key to Spencer Cassadine’s Return?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease how Spencer Cassadine (most recently Nicholas Alexander Chavez) could return to Port Charles.

A certain someone connected to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) long ago happens to live in Paris-Rebecca Shaw; (Natalia Livingston) might Spencer have been in Rebecca’s care all this time?

Spencer Could Have Amnesia And Rebecca Has Been Caring For Him

Rebecca is the late Emily Quartermaine’s (Natalia Livingston) twin sister who dated Nikolas years before Spencer was born. She left town and moved to Paris, France on a scholarship that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) was going to use for Emily.

However, Rebecca loved Paris and decided to move there, and never did return; might she have found Nikolas washed up on the bank of the Seine and helped him?

Nikolas himself had something similar happen many years ago, but unfortunately the woman who helped him kept him captive because he resembled her late husband!

Might Spencer have been with Rebecca all this time, and she never realized who he was and some way learns his father is Nikolas?

Will This Be A Sonny In Nixon Falls Story?

Many fans remember when Spencer’s white dove, that matches Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) was seen floating in water at a shoreline. It reminded many viewers of the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Nixon Falls story, where he washed up from the river, only he was nearly frozen.

Could Rebecca have been taking a stroll by the Seine River and came across Spencer unconscious, washed up on the bank-did she see the white dove and rescue it also?

Obviously, Rebecca is old enough to be his mother so there’s not going to be a love story between the two, barring Rebecca turning into a cougar like Ava Jerome (Maura West)!

Perhaps Rebecca comes across some information, possibly scouring the internet for a photo and comes up with the story of the American boy gone missing in the Seine.

Why Would She Wait So Long To Look For Spencer’s Identity?

Spencer could have been unconscious and healing for a while when Rebecca found him, and Paris is a large city, she could have been on a short vacation out of town.

Of course she would get him medical care and he could have had facial injuries as well-that certainly would deter an immediate identification.

There are many reasons finding an identity on the injured young man may have been elusive for this long, but when she finds out he’s Nikolas’ son, she must take action!

Then again, she may have just taken the young man in to care for because no one claimed him-and he may still have amnesia! She may very well return with Spencer, not knowing he’s Nikolas’ son until  she brings him to Monica’s funeral!
