The General Hospital weekly promo, “Secrets” shows Valentin muttering that the clock is ticking, and then threatening Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and telling her it’s going to get unpleasant! Someone then kidnaps her from the docks! Whether Valentin knew all along that Nikolas was alive, and though he was working with him, or whether he just recently found out, why else would he be targeting Hayden? Hayden was married to Nikolas when he “died” on Cassadine Island after Valentin shot him – or pretended to shoot him – that part is debatable – and fell out the window!

GH Spoilers – There Have Been Many Hints Throughout The Years That Valentin Cassadine Helped Nikolas Cassadine Fake His Death

There have been many hints on General Hospital throughout the years that Valentin may have helped Nikolas fake his death. For one, Nikolas had tried unsuccessfully to fake his death just before trying to fake his death again, when he was caught by Ava Jerome (Maura West) sitting next to him on an airplane using the name “Niles Carradine”.

Viewers have thought that Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) was not nearly as upset as he should have been finding out his father had died. But it is true that children can grieve differently than adults and sometimes they just push their grief down and it emerges later. We definitely know that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) doesn’t know and wasn’t in on any faked death scheme. Then there was the conversation that Nikolas and Valentin had among themselves in Greek before he went out the window!

General Hospital Spoilers – All Of A Sudden Valentin Cassadine Worries About Helena Cassadine’s Portrait

Then, all of a sudden, after throwing it out in the trash because Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Hernandez) was afraid of it, Valentin shows up wanting Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) portrait back from Ava Jerome (Maura West) who hid it in a back room of her art gallery after Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) got it from the garbage scow and sold it to her for a hundred bucks, which is probably much less than it’s worth! Ava knows he’s after something because she knows that J Garren paints puzzles and clues into his portrait! Why is Valentin worried about it now after he threw it out? He must know that it contains important information vital to his keeping his place as the Cassadine heir!
