General Hospital Spoilers – Franco Baldwin’s Death
GH spoilers reveal that it has been speculated for weeks that Franco would be the one to die, not Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Even GH insiders confirmed that the character would meet his demise. As we saw on Tuesday’s episode, Peter and Franco struggled over the gun. Franco ended up getting shot, leaving Liz and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to find his body. By the time paramedics got there, he was pronounced dead.
GH Spoilers – Roger Howarth On Status
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Haworth talked about his status on the soap. Even though insiders said the actor was “gone,” it won’t be forever. The actor confirmed that while Franco is seemingly dead, Howarth is not leaving the show. He will, however, be on a break for a little while. He has some great plans on how he’s spending his time away from the soap. He also has great faith on how the writers will handle the storyline moving forward. He couldn’t give any clues, but did state that he’s been in great hands so far.
General Hospital Spoilers – Actor Using Hiatus For Good Cause

General Hospital spoilers reveal that during Howarth’s hiatus, he will be spending some time serving others. He will use Cameo to generate funds that he will turn over completely to Feeding America. 100% of the proceeds will go to the organization. He explained, “I just wanted to help out. You can go to www.feedingamerica.org and donate directly if you’d like, but if you’d like something in return as an incentive, I will say happy birthday or give motivational shout-outs or do inspirational jigs or whatever anybody is asking me to do…. The only rule is that I won’t denigrate or disrespect myself or anybody else!”
The actor added that if it works out well, he would like to continue doing it and hopefully get his GH castmates involved.
“And if it works well, I’d like to continue to do it when I do go back to work, when I’m around other castmates who want to join in.”
GH Spoilers – How And Who Will Actor Return As?

On soaps, especially GH, anything can happen. Many people confirmed to be “dead” have returned over the years. So, Franco would somehow be alive. Or, the writers could have Howarth appear as a relative (maybe even the overused soap twin storyline). There is also the chance that Howarth could play a brand new character that just looks eerily similar to Franco. We will have to keep watching to find out.
As for how long he will be off the canvas, Haworth wouldn’t say. When we find out when he’s returning to the set, we will let you know.

That's good news! I love Roger and Rebecca independently, but it was so far fetched that Elizabeth and Franco would be together after the dastardly deeds he did with the brain tumor. And relationships unfortunately become rather humdrum when they marry 'happily ever after'. Time for them to move on to new loves.
I love Franco/ Todd Manning/ Iv'e followed Roger Howarth from soap to soap always. He is an awesome actor, a character actor, he puts his all into whatever character he portrays. Again, I love him Franco and Liz and their beautiful loving family on GH.
Very happy my fav GH actor will not leave the show. I actually took GH off my dvr . Now I guess I’ll add it back to see where He will appear and follow the story line

I hope he is not, but they did not say Franco was alive, just that Roger will be back!

Happily ever after doesn't have to be humdrum even though I agree with your post, the writers make it that way. GH always used to have at least one stable couple, but now days, all couples for some reason seem to be written as questionable when it comes to pairings (get together and breakup). Characters are paired for no other reason that to have a pairing and then the pairing is destroyed. Very sad for the children of these couples and for the adult population of PC.
Discord seems to be the name of the game. At this point in time is there even one story line viewers can enjoy that doesn't relate to some type of really bad problem. Would like to see some joy for characters even if the story line doesn't last but a few days as it would lift the doom/gloom stories for a short period of time.
I hope Jordan or Robert is working with Franco to bring down Peter. Let's rap up this Peter story quickly.
I’m thinking Franco’s death was faked. Especially if he’s coming back, I don’t think his character will be changed again. I’m happy for Elizabeth to have a front burner story, and since Jason and Elizabeth are both free now, bring on Liason!!!!

I became a fan of Roger Howarth when he was Todd Manning on One Life to Live. He is my favorite soap actor. I was overjoyed when he came into GH! It breaks my heart to think he is truly dead and will no longer be Franco. He's a great actor & I truly hope they keep him on the show. It won't be the same without him!
