General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the upcoming double wedding of the century in Port Charles, NY will not be an affair for the timid or faint of heart!
Soap weddings have a storied history of not going as planned and when you double the nuptials you can probably expect to quadruple the hijinks. What are these two couples thinking? Maybe they weren’t and that’s the point?
General Hospital spoilers – Double Fun At The Port Chuck Wedding Of The Century
What will happen when quirky lizard owner Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) marries super spy Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) alongside blonde fashionista Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and evildoer Peter August (Wes Ramsey)?
According to head writer Dan O’Connor, fans should expect to be thrilled, shocked, and left in awe. In other words, these nuptials will not disappoint soap fans used to weddings on the spicy and incendiary side.
He claims, “Years of secrets and lies are about to explode,” and promises, “double the fireworks.”
General Hospital spoilers: Too Many Secrets?
What will happen at this major event? It is fitting that the weddings take place in February, the month of love and sweeps! But according to the head writer, love will be the least of everyone’s concerns.
There are a lot of secrets being kept between the fiancé’s and no doubt some if not all of them will erupt.
Take Maxie and Peter. He is playing her like a fiddle and she is humming right along. She will be shocked when she discovers that he is as bad, if not worse, as everyone is telling her he is. She will have a lot of crow to eat and it could take her years.
GH Spoilers – What Happens Next In Port Charles?
Anna is keeping secret the fact that she is Peter’s aunt, not his mother. Plus Finn could find out he is his brother’s father (it’s a soap!). O’Connor also promises that “a wedding crasher will drop a bombshell on all in attendance.”
Who in the world could that be? Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a prime candidate as he is presumed currently to be dead. Then again Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is presumed dead as is Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
Whatever happens at the double weddings will without a doubt make a major mark on the Port Charles wedding scene. Will everyone survive the festivities? Will both weddings actually take place?

I hope that somehow both weddings will happen. I hope that Peer and Maxie will get married. Peter and Maxie are expecting Lou and need to try to sort out the situation they are in. Peter can and will come through for Maxie in the end. Alex does not matter. Anna should be Peter's mother and Lou's grandmother somehow. I hope that Dante does not do anything at the wedding because of Liesl. I also hope that somehow Franco having Drew memories might help Peter in the end. I hope that Anna and Finn get married. However the fact that Jackie and Finn might be Chase's parents might come out. Then there is a real possiblity that Hayden might come back. I just hope that after everything that the situation with Peter will get better and that Lou will.be alright.
