General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) face the end of their partnership in Aurora Media. Question is, who turns on who-Michael on Drew, or Drew on Michael?
General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Corinthos Kept The Secret And Used It
Michael knew the secret that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) blew the whistle to the SEC for weeks and not only that, used it to control and blackmail.
He didn’t tell Drew or even his mother Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) what he knew, because he wanted to keep that control.
That would make a case for firing him from Aurora Media or at least suspending him for a period of time, but that’s when it was a kinder and gentler Drew.
How can he trust such a two-faced person as Michael and how does Drew know he won’t screw him over? Even though Drew wanted to take over ELQ and screw over Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) himself-Drew has changed bigtime!
GH Spoilers: Drew Cain Has Become Rather Authoritarian
Carly and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have both noticed and discussed how Drew has changed since coming home from Pentonville-rather authoritarian and making unilateral decisions.
He changed Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) school without consulting either her or Sam, and that didn’t go over well.
He also decided Carly was going to be his business partner, running Crimson Magazine when she only agreed to run it until they found someone else!
So it’s no surprise when he fires Michael out of seemingly nowhere although anyone can understand his reason for doing so-but he didn’t give him any warning.
He’s not even convening board meetings and discussing anything, just doing what he wants and not doing what he doesn’t want to do-and Michael is blindsided!
General Hospital Spoilers: Employment Contract?
Michael and Drew had drawn up contracts when Michael became part of Aurora, and he ran it on his own the whole time Drew was presumed dead, plus in Pentonville.
Michael puts Drew in mind of those contracts and produces one which Drew promptly tears up in his face, further shocking Michael!
Drew seems to be turning into a regular tyrant, acting more like a Cassadine than a Quartermaine-although Quartermaines can be pretty nasty to each other too.
Michael will have no choice but to appeal to the board but Drew pretty much did away with their board too. Maybe he’ll try to suck up to Ned and get reinstated at ELQ, which he worked for and even ran a few years!
