General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Devastated, Liesl Tells Him Peter Killed Franco

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Drew Cain And Franco Baldwin Were Foster Brothers

Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that during the Jim Harvey (Greg Evigan) storyline a few years ago it was revealed that Drew and Franco were foster brothers for a short time when they were small children. Franco was a little bit older than Drew, and Nurse Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang) had agreed to take both Heather Webber’s (Robin Mattson) and Susan Moore’s (Gail Ramsey) sons when Susan died in childbirth.

This is also when Drew and his twin Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were split up, and Franco’s childhood memories explained why he thought that he was a missing Quartermaine, and Jason’s brother. He had childhood photos of himself and “Andy” when Drew was still identical to Jason before his accident and subsequent plastic surgery, and had seen photos of Jason at the same age. General Hospital viewers will recall that Franco went through a time of traumatic repressed memories that came up while trapped by Harvey with Drew in the basement of a construction site Harvey intended to blow up. Drew and Franco reconnected as former foster brothers at that time and Franco went on a journey of emotional healing.

GH Spoilers And Rumors – Drew Cain Felt Very Close To Franco Baldwin

As a result of Franco’s memories and Drew learning they were foster brothers as toddlers, General Hospital viewers will recall that Franco and Drew became very close. Their brotherly bond was renewed in spite of Drew not having his memories from that time – it felt right in his heart. Franco, as very young Bobby Frank, had indeed taken the sexual abuse from Harvey, protected little Andy and with the help of Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) remembered that he had not pushed his little foster brother down basement stairs and killed him, as he had been lied to about all his life.

Franco was devastated when Drew’s plane went down in the Gulf of Aden, resulting in his presumed death up until Franco himself died at the hands of Peter August! General Hospital viewers will see Liesl Obrecht wind up in the same dungeon cell as Drew in the next few episodes, and as much as Liesl loved Franco, it is unfathomable that she wouldn’t tell Drew about his murder!

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Drew Cain Will Be Devastated At Liesl Obrecht’s News

General Hospital viewers can imagine that Drew will be devastated at Liesl’s news about Franco! General Hospital spoilers reveal that she will also tell Drew that his captivity came about by an alliance between Peter and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and when he hears Peter murdered Franco, he will be even angrier at Peter! Drew wouldn’t mete out Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) style justice, because he will want Peter brought to justice and face the penalties for his crimes.

Drew has a fine-tuned sense of right and wrong, which is one reason why he became a Navy Seal, and a highly decorated one at that! Liesl may tell Drew what she knows about his past as well, that Peter was responsible for kidnapping him out of Afghanistan to begin with. Drew may not have all of those memories but he definitely has some of them, or he would not have tried to return the dirty money in Tex Owen’s (uncast character) old car to Afghanistan to begin with!
