General Hospital spoilers leak Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) seems to be leaning on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as he continues to need help cleaning up his life as preparing to trot off to Washington, D.C.
Nina plays a good game acting like she doesn’t care enough about Drew to be bothered if she loses him, but we know she’s secretly hoping that their relationship is on its way up from here.
Sure, he might be headed out of town, but that’s what weekends are for — and it’s not as though her career keeps her stuck in Port Charles. Remember Nixon Falls?
Nina can work from wherever she wants whenever she wants, apparently. Drew has other plans in mind, and he’s been working them out on the nursery room floor, unbeknownst to Nina. So what happens when he leaves? Is this it for him and his cover girl?
General Hospital Spoilers — A Temporary Fix
When Nina and Drew first started hooking up, it surprised both of them. Neither was in any rush to tell anyone the truth about what was going on between them.
In fact, even when Drew confided in Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about what was happening with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), it was clear that Nina wasn’t really on his radar in the same way.
Point blank — he has feelings for Willow, not Nina. Nina offering herself up as his arm candy to boost his poll numbers was just gravy on top of their already-salacious relationship — and it was never anything more than that to Drew.
GH Spoilers – Claim Nina Reeves Is In For A Rude Awakening
Right now, Nina is continuing to remain in Drew’s corner and expects that that’s just where he wants her. Of course he does, but that doesn’t mean he’s not getting busy with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) in some other corner of the Q mansion.
Nina’s arrangement with him was more professional than personal in Drew’s mind, whereas he has deep feelings for Willow that he just can’t seem to ignore.
When Nina learns the truth — that he’s also hooked up with her daughter — it’s going to strike a nerve that goes above and beyond interfering in Willow’s marriage. Nina is going to feel like she was always Drew’s second choice. Can this end well?
General Hospital Spoilers — This Isn’t Just About Geography
It won’t be long before Drew is supposed to move. He said he would have to part ways with Port Chuck after Sam’s funeral — which is this week!
He could take the easy way out and behave as though his parting ways with Nina is just part of the deal they both knew was coming.
But he may not expect that she will continue to try to be a part of his life — in and out of the bedroom — after he moves.
How will she process him trying to cut ties because he moved after she finds out he’s hardly trying to do the same with Willow? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out.
