As General Hospital viewers know, Kim has been desperate to fill the hole in her heart after losing her and Drew’s only son Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) to brain cancer over a month ago. She had already asked her boyfriend Julian Jerome (William DeVry) to make a baby with her and although he didn’t turn her down flat, he told her they needed to wait until she was more healed from her grief over Oscar.
General Hospital Spoilers – Kim’s Pregnancy Plan
Kim also talked with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) recently and Liz told her Oscar’s death didn’t negate Kim’s being a mother even if she is not actively mothering him anymore, and that being a mother is a thing of the heart.
But Kim doesn’t know how not to be a mother because she was a mother for so many years to Oscar; it seems like this is an identity problem more than a grief problem; she seems unable to shift her focus to other caretaking in her life, such as her obstetric and gynecological practice and her patients, for instance!
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Gets A Big Surprise
General Hospital spoilers tease that Drew will be surprised and possibly respond to Kim’s advances, to a point, because she’ll get mixed signals and he may as well. He does have feelings for her, and possibly some of his buried feelings he’s forgotten could start to ignite because of this, but he will come to his senses in time to push her off him and try to talk some sense into her!
Kim denies trying to replace Oscar with a new baby to assuage her grief, but this could be something subconscious and she doesn’t even realize that’s what she’s doing, combined of course with her identity problem of not being able to feel like herself without being a mother! Kim will continue to make bad decisions, based on her desperation to be a mother again.

OH God I hope not. Sick of baby story lines.
Makes no sense at all – soap life or real life. Just another way to add to the everlasting Shiloh saga. Plus, we the viewers need no more baby story lines at this point.
