General Hospital spoilers spill Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is a free man once again. Having his sentence commuted and being able to walk out of prison just a couple of months after his would-be three-year sentence began left Drew with a new outlook on life. He wants to grab fate by the bullhorns and steer his own ship again. He’s eager to reshape Aurora Media and ELQ. He’s ready to burn bridges with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) to make it happen.
He’s relishing every minute with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), but he’s also pushing Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) into private school without so much as a discussion about whether that’s where she wants to be, nor how Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) feels about it. As Sam continues to keep a watchful eye on Drew’s erratic behavior, she could start to worry that the guy who came home is not the same guy who was sentenced to Pentonville.
General Hospital Spoilers — Prison Changes People
For a time, it might be easy for Sam to brush off her concerns about Drew’s behavior. He was locked up for months and thought he wouldn’t have a real role in his daughter’s life for three long years.
Now that he’s been able to reclaim his life, he doesn’t want to miss a single opportunity to make the most out of it. That includes pushing for success in every corner of his world.
As Drew races toward perfection, cracks will start to form in the foundation of his plans, and Sam might take note of them even when he doesn’t want her to.
GH Spoilers Claim Sam Wears Her Heart on Her Sleeve
Is Drew suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder following the brutal attack he endured in Pentonville? Did he suffer psychological or brain damage as a result of that trauma?
Is it possible that he’s just trying to make up for lost time and overcompensate for what he thinks his daughter lost during that time? For what they both lost, honestly.
All of these thoughts and more will cross Sam’s mind as he starts to behave in ways that are nothing like him, and as she continues to hope to figure out what’s really going on with Drew.
General Hospital Spoilers — Dante Gets the Brush Off
There are only so many hours in a day — and there are only so many exes who can rely on us for so long before our partners grow tired of it. Just ask Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
This time around, as Sam’s concern for Drew increases, Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) concern over her feelings for Drew will deepen, too. Is Sam really just concerned about the father of her daughter, or is there more to it?
Dante is far from a jealous guy, but we can trust that if he starts to have those thoughts, there might be good reasons for them. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to watch Sam dance around her everlasting feelings for Drew.
