General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Refuses To Let Willow Go After She’s Revealed as Shooter, Too Fixated To End Marriage?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may refuse to let Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) go after she’s most likely revealed as his shooter. Will Drew be too fixated to end the marriage?

It seems fair to say that Drew is completely obsessed with Willow and this dream of having a wonderful life together. GH fans know Willow went through with the wedding, but she isn’t in love any longer and is just using Drew now.

However, Drew is oblivious to Willow’s true motives and genuinely believes they can have a bright future with Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante). Even if Drew ultimately recalls that Willow fired at him twice that night, it may not fully break the spell he’s under.

Drew might start trying to spin this so he can still have a happy ending with Willow. Since blaming Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is one of Drew’s favorite pastimes, he might act like it’s Michael’s fault for pushing Willow over the edge.

Drew could work through whatever shock and anger he might feel quickly. From there, Drew might tell Willow that they can fix this as long as she’s honest with him from now on.

Of course, Willow may have scored a not guilty verdict by the time this conversation happens. Once Willow’s in the clear legally, she can’t be prosecuted for the same crime due to double jeopardy.

As a result, Willow may decide she’s done pretending and admit she only used Drew for the sake of appearances. Marrying Drew was a court strategy, so Willow may think Drew needs to drop the illusion of them being some perfect couple.

Drew isn’t someone who likes to lose, so he may ultimately refuse to let Willow walk away. Perhaps Drew will insist on making this marriage work and argue that he won’t let her annul it or divorce him.

Drew could use the custody situation to threaten Willow and warn that he’ll take his story to the press if she fights him on this. Willow may have zero chance of getting her kids back if the news plays her up as the woman who got away with attempted murder.

Maybe Drew will contend that Willow’s going to be the devoted wife and stepmother she promised to be. Drew may insist he doesn’t want another disappointment for Scout and push Willow to fake loving him until it becomes real again.
